Xcite Energy – it could lose everything

Recently we have seen the value of Xcite Energy (XEL) plummet by 30% with the release of its annual report, a document which clearly flies in the face of what was set out in the UK government’s recent Wood Review.

  1. Another stonking revelation from MR Evans

  2. BADDER ROBOT

Well done, Mr Evans – truly excellent work.

    http://uk.advfn.com/cmn/fbb/thread.php3?id=28518042&from=36417#36417

The following post, found on ADVFN, is part of a discussion between several of the most robust defenders of the stock, and in a thread where a failure to actively “ramp” the share by a poster seems to usually result in his immediate censorship, expulson and banning (unless his posting status makes that impossible for the thread-owner to do).

    jcd1972 31 Mar’14 – 17:18 – 36417
Mclellan – yes I’m sure you’re right that the poison pill was intended to prevent t/o bids less than £5 per share and if any interest in a bid had been expressed the BOD would have sought £5+

Well, if it is true, and the absurdly high price of 500p (XEL, having touched 58.25p today, and closed @ 60.25p, so 500p is quite laughable) is indeed an intentional “POISON PILL”, then it sounds to me awfully like field-squatting or licence-squatting.

Given that the sources are about as pro-Xcite as one can get, this is truly a revelation.

I wonder what Wood would make of this… the field is for developing, and not for waiting on some unrealistic enormous offer price of 500p (exceeding even the wildly speculative 425p momentarily reached 3 years ago vy the XEL SP, in a fevered speculative bubble that resulted in hundreds of millions being wiped off the company’s market capitalisation) to eventually be realised.

No or insufficient development, no tax income. And what the Government giveth, it may also take away – right?

Who do I phone about this? I pay taxes here, not personally having the luxury of being registered in the B.V.I.

  3. Thank you for this enlightening article. I recommend shareprophets and/or Mr Winnifrith investigate the conduct of a prolific poster on the ADVFN bulletin boards who operates under the avatar “mclellan”. Not only has this individual recently libelled both of you (TW’s truthfulness and directness has often made him a target for that person), but the extent and audacity of this chap’s activities quite take the breath away. There is material there for dozens of articles. The analysis of a psychiatrist may be more relevant; however, all of us who are any good at the SM know that psychology and psychiatry are needed skills. Thank you.

  4. Xcite has few large investors – the only institutional holders acquired their stock in expensive financing deals, plus several directors had millions of shares as part of remuneration packages.
Most of the stock is in the hands of inexperienced small private investors.
The reason for the miserable SP performance we have seen in recent years is that a very determined, large gang of crooked share RAMPERS operate “PUMP AND DUMP” SCAMS via the iii, ADVFN, LSE etc. boards. The scammers all pretend to be LTHs and use dozens of aliases. They post lies non-stop, often pretending to speak with the company’s authorisation and inside knowledge.
If you oppose them, you are ridiculed, insulted, censored, complained about to abuse, banned and even impudently threatened with the FCA.
The net effect of these years of ramping deceit is that genuine investors are hugely disappointed that the events they were promised were imminent are still far off or uncertain or both, costs are much higher than claimed, and that concerns expressed by others (which were attacked and censored by the rampers) were well-founded.
The eventual bitter disappointment means they sell out. If one bought at the peak and sold recently, one would have lost 86p of every £ invested.
Jailing these rampers could mark the road to recovery.
The same rampers are threatening shareprophets as I write, and trying to incite others to sue or prosecute. Clearly, the truth hurts them badly.
I conclude from their impotent rage that TW is doing an excellent job, and I hope he continues. Expose these liars – name and shame them too.

  5. How dare you post this material! I will have all of you arrested!

  6. Sadly I must agree with Evans, Both Mrs Fi McDale and I sold our holdings here last week. We had waited patiently since 2010 for it to recover. We lost 85% of our money.

  7. “Xcite Energy – it could lose everything”
It looks as if the Ramper-in-Charge of the XEL threads on ADVFN has agreed with this article, because it has sold out and is now ramping TCG, ROSE and MSMN instead. With the same effect.

  8. Abuse Department

We have belatedly kicked mclellan off the boards. Sorry for the inconvenience.

  9. mclellan, or takahe as you now call yourself,
One question, which others can also answer – Why do so many people genuinely hate you?
You are, without doubt, the most disliked person in the whole of ADVFN, and we’re talking hundreds of thousands, and beyond….
And it’s not just ADVFN members -
XEL BOD think you’re a pest and nuisance, and don’t reply to you any more.
FCA think you’re a joke and a time-waster – had any one prosecuted yet?? LOL
ADVFN ABUSE think you’re an idiot, but you used to keep them in a job.
Hyvast, according to the post quoted by fruitfly, thinks you’re a stupid dunce and should shut the f. UP.
Hundreds if not thousands of posters have expressed deep rage against you, and hold you responsible for cheating and misleading them into buying, holding or increasing their exposure to XEL, which stock has turned out exactly as Red Evans and Tom W predicted, falling from 425p to 25p. It has gone down the pan.
I doubt that Tom Winifrith thinks very much of you, especially if he is made aware that you repeatedly attack and libel him, call him a criminal, as you recently did on lse.co,uk, and so on. All this because he tells the truth about stocks and exposes disgusting ramping liars like yourself.
Now you have been kicked off ADVFN (29/1/2015) and unless I’m much mistaken, apprehended for investment fraud.
Anyway, I’ll leave you with those thoughts… personally, I hope you are charged, convicted and sentenced to spend the rest of your life behind bars for all the old people who lost their pensions by listening to your lies.

  10. Ma wee Morag yer better come back if yer know whats good fer yer, I’ll even call you Fi …. I know you ran orf with the frenchboi crook what was ramping GKP…. shame on yer! Pretending to have a degree and all, I will expose you!

  11. Ma wee Morag yer better come back if yer know whats good fer yer, I’ll even call you Fi …. I know you ran orf with the frenchboi crook what was ramping GKP…. shame on yer! Pretending to have a degree and all, I will expose you!

  12. I can see that advfn is about to keel over. I left just in time.

  13. No, takahe AKA mclellan, It is you who have keeled over. Now we have had you kicked off from LSE.co.uk. Your stream of filthy lies has cost small, innocent investors tens if not hundreds of millions of pounds, squandered on rubbish stocks and in some cases on little better than boiler room scams. You deserve a long prison sentence and there are hundreds of us working to ensure that justice does catch up with you – before the other thing does.

  14. Mr Hamish mclellan

Morag need a dam good whompin, She sold all the silver and put all the dosh into ROSE at 2.6p, today ROSE is at 0.3p. This was suppose to make up for the fortune she lost me on XEL.

  15. It is high time that the disgusting mclellan is arrested and charged with fraud.

  16. Ingrid Barbour-Hunter

Happy to say, the deceiful avatar “mclellan” was outed as Mrs Fiona Mclellan Stewart, 72, of Springback Way, Uppingham, Oakden, Leics LE15 9TT. She is now pushing up daisies following her demise on the A66 near Warcop on Tuesday June 16th a little before 5 pm. As she was one of the main rampers of worthless AIM stocks, and responsible for misery to thousands of people she scammed, and losses to private investors in the tens of millions of pounds, her passing will cause no tears to be spilled.
Her lawyer, Charles Love (aka Loverat) has been approached for comment, as well as for details as to where he qualified as a lawyer. There has been no response.

  17. All those who got swindled over ten years by that crooked, lying ramper, Fiona Mclellan Stewart (posting on ADVFN as mclellan and elsewhere as takahe) of Uppingham, Rutland, you should be aware there’s a petition starting to get the beast disinterred and moved away from the burial plots of decent Christians

Personally, I’d just sling it into a rubbish bin or on a skip, but apparently that’s not legal.

Or leave it out for the dogs, but then they might contract rabies from the bitch.

  18. What is also interesting is that following the ‘tragic’ demise of mclellan on June 16, 2015 (the same mclellan who had been kicked off ADVFN on Jan 29 2015 for criminal ramping, fraud, deception, illegal advising, etc.) about 20 rampers also disappeared.
We presume these were its duplicate avatars, set up for fraudulent purposes.
Its known helpers, associates and accessories on ADVFN, e.g. “Liquid Millionaire”, “Loverat”, “fxdealer3”, “Skiboy10”, “yarisverso”, “Goulding” and many others all now need to be thoroughly investigated and considered for prosecution.

  19. Inquest-Attender

The good Cumbrian coroner may not be such a fool as some make out. mcliar was indeed anticipating her own, long overdue arrest for investment fraud, illegal advising and so on. She kept all records, as she often boasted. Had she been up before the beaks, upon realising she could not browbeat or bamboozle them, she would have claimed to have been only a small cog, and have blabbed about her numerous accomplices during her decade of crime. And they would have joined her in jail. Perhaps one of these lowlifes decided on some prophylactic action? All healthy speculation in the interests of law enforcement, of course.
