That great Bubble Sir Stelios has Fastjet (FJET) and its fascist bully boy PR scumbag operatives at Citigate Dewe Rogerson realing. Naturally I start with this. The heroic Sir Stelios makes me even more of an admirer of all things Greek. Well almost. I look at Hellenic Carriers (HCL) and also at Gulf Keystone (GKP) and Northern Petroleum (NOP).

Tom, surprised you haven’t done a piece on Westminster (WSG) yet, 3 years of failure, several mous signed and 0 converted into contracts, dilution galore and a ferry contract that’s has just been a failure from the word go and still hasn’t launched, no director buys for an eternity. A family run business just paying the family !

If a good companu inadvertently issues a misleading metric in an RNS they would have immediately issued a correction and put the record straight. That should have been enough to alert shareholders that something was wrong.
I have posted before. One lie or an uncorrected misleading statement is a sell note , there are no exceptions. Had shareholders noted it and sold, they would have saved themselves some loss. That is my only rule, I have no others, and it is the only rule I have ever needed.
The reality is of course being stupid to get involved in it in the first place. The chances of this company ever creating long term sustainable profits were always nil, right from the start.

@Phil – which RNS are you referring to? The most relevant one is the 7 March trading update which states that the company has “sufficient funds to meet its operational requirements” and doesn’t need to raise further cash. Regardless of Stelios’ (and Tom’s) histrionics, that remains the case until or unless the company changes its story.
That Fastjet has chosen not to respond in the heat of the moment, in public at least, to Stelios’ accusations is perfectly proper and may mean that they feel the 7 March RNS pre-empts any further public statements at this stage. Whether they will respond next week in a considered fashion remains to be seen. What they should be focusing on is maximising revenues over the Easter holiday.
PS. Does anyone know what “realing” means? Don’t all computers have spellcheckers?

It seems that you can only do it once. But you can check. If you are using an iPad go to settings, iTunes & appstore and then log onto your apple account. Tap on “ratings and reviews” and you should see the review.

All it would have taken to clarify TW’s query relating to net cash was for Fastjet to respond to a phone call, it went out of it’s way to do anything but.
Trying to trade and create margin with a high cost company trading to lowest of low cost economies with the poorest people in all the world is impossible. Fastjet is doomed to fail right from the start.
I have also read Warren Buffet’s rules, they maybe OK for him, but they are not OK for me. I cannot trade like Warren Buffet because I’m not Warren Buffet. Just because you can create wealth with a high cost company in Britain is no precursor that you can do that in Africa.
There is enough evidence in the public domain regarding African corruption, but it isn’t just a case of corruption. Just as I can’t trade like Warren Buffet because I’m not Warren Buffet, you cannot trade Africa as you trade Britain, it is just such a different place.
In the vast majority of circumstance almost all monies invested in Africa will never reach an African Street, that is the real problem Africa has to solve, and they cannot solve it using shareholders. Africa needs your customers and consumers. If you want to make money in Africa don’t invest in it, vote Brexit, trade with it, it is the world’s lowest of low cost producers. If the Chinese can trade Africa to a margin then surly with your high costs you can
