Sirius Petroleum (SRSP) has just announced that one of its NEDs, Chris Neal, has closed a spread bet he had in the company's shares. Whatever.. But the RNS does not actually make sense.

Surely if he was “short” he could not be a NED at all since their sole purpose is to protect shareholders interests from rampant executive directors crack pot self interest schemes .
