Disclosure: I have no positions in any stocks mentioned, and no plans to initiate any positions within the next 72 hours. I wrote this article myself, and it expresses my own opinions. I am not receiving compensation for it (other than from ShareProphets). I have no business relationship with any company whose stock is mentioned in this article.
In this presentation from Gold & Bears I posed 12 questions that Jabba the Hutt will not answer. I then ran through the Lenigas portfolio explaining why you should sell shares in each of: LGO Energy (LGO), Rare Earth Minerals (REM), UK Oil & Gas (UKOG), Inspirit (INSP), Lenigas Cuba (CUBA), Evocutis (EVO), Solo Oil (SOLO) and AfriAg (AFRI). Question 2 about lack of TR1 surely reflects on both DL & LGO as they must have been informed of revised holding to be able to report it in the accounts.
Antondec
Dear Tom
You have thoroughly exposed DL and his smoke and mirrors in recent months HOWEVER I think the biggest irony of this video is the brief glimpse of Andrew Bell (6m 42 secs). This man has a horrific track record with RRR and RGM and has seen massive shareholder wealth destruction whilst drawing 2 large salaries.
You have been repeated asked why you have not held AB up to the same standard as DL and the best you came back with was that he was “nice” to you after you were left Rivington and that his companies (99.99% drop in share price) are not bankrupt!
Surely he deserves the same opprobrium? Given he had 2 stands (paid for by shareholders!!) at Gold & Bears does he get let off again?

antondec, TW used to support Lenigas until fairly recently, brushing off his confetti issues as an ability to raise capital and casting him as a lovable rogue with shareholders interest at heart.
At least Tom dosent mind admitting he is wrong. Give it time

Are you sure DL is a director of Octagonal? Have you not claimed he is and is still getting paid ?
Pain Au Chocolat
Antondec, This has been asked many, many times. It is pointless. Tom will not do an exposé of Bells serial and catastrophic failures for shareholders because he is his “mate”. I think the decimation of the shareholder value in Bell companies speaks for itself really. The RRR Elephant Oil deal must be getting Tom twitching though. That is a shocker. As is the sale of only half the SRT holding in order to hang on to his seat (and salary) on the SRT Board. That went wrong and Bell “resigned”. Will he find a reason to sell those shares now he is not earning out of SRT? I think we should be told. Sod the Chinese and the Greeks, let’s have our own back yard cleaned up first and Bells companies merit being first under the proverbial microscope. Not that you need a microscope.

Yes folks Bell is my mate. That has not stopped me from suggesting quite explicitly that flip flip’s buy calls on RRR were wrong. But I choose what or whom I write about. And there are only so many hours in the day

SP is still a relatively low key website, attracting 5 – 10 comments per article… But if it grows (which it surely will) and starts attracting say 100+ comments per article, scrutinizing EVERY written word here, then this defense of “not enough hours in the day” to comment on or criticize your “mate” simply won’t fly Tom…
Pain Au Chocolat
I have an idea Tom. Can you give us a list of those that have been given a Passe Partout by the “Sherriff of AIM” please? That way we know who to avoid. Bell is obviously No.1 on the list with full Diplomatic Immunity from any investigation. Who else warrants a look but is being, er, favoured? You could call your mission to clean up AIM as Full Investigations For All, FIFA for short.

We might attract 50 comments a day so that would with the preview/approve mechanism be c 100 page views a day. Or put another way 0.7% of our total. I rather sense folks come here for the editorial content not so much for the comments. It might take darren & I 20 minutes a day to approve the lot. My work is in writing & researching articles which have made this website very popular and high profile in a short space of time.
An abiding principle of this website is that all writers can say what they want. That includes me. Right now I have just had a cracking little session here in Greece on InternetQ. That will be my lead article tomorrow. And I want to write that. It gives me pleasure. I would gain no pleasure in launching a sustained attack against a friend so will not do it. I am not going to say buy RRR as flip flop did because I am not convinced by the case. My duty is to my readers and Bell knows that.
But equally I am not going to go for popularity – have I ever? _ by launching a bloody assault on a friend. You can howl all you like but Im not going to change my view.

No-one has immunity. I will say that shares in any company that I feel to be overvalued are overvalued as I have on RRR
Who I actively choose to go after is my business. If you lot wish to buy the site you can dictate editorial policy. Until then I choose who I write about.

Please confirm is DL a director of Octagonal or not ?
Didn’t he step down as part of the RTO?

Len
You are correct. My mistake. He remains a “supportive shareholder”, like at LGO & his INSP buddy Gunn is i/c – all part of the same nest of snakes

Guys,
Why do you need Tom to write about people you think are dodgy. There are plenty of BBs out there where you can do it yourself and take responsibility for what you write.
Share Prophets does accept well written and properly substantiated articles from outsiders – I wrote several as Newt Seaman on TXO. Why not write one and submit it. Make sure you can back up any potentially defamatory remark with hard evidence.
Share Prophets recently published an article by California Joe. The article was drivel and added nothing new to anyone’s understanding, whilst I am sure Share Prophets won’t make that particular editorial mistake again, it does show they are prepared, on occasion, to publish articles from outside that do not meet the normal high standards of research.
