I have already demonstrated how AIM listed Fishing Republic (FISH) has inflated reported profits by ignoring related party property costs HERE and how the valuation is a rum and coke HERE but now the real maggots are starting to emerge. With thanks to reader David, I conclude that this company is a shocker and simply not investment grade material.

This is an extraordinarily good piece of investigative journalism. You are to be congratulated. I was never going to buy any FISH paper, but this is truly instructive, and a warning to read the small print.

Another brilliant piece of first class investigative journalism that clearly demonstrates that the questions you’ve raised need to be answered. The fact the company has remained silent has made me, as a shareholder uncomfortable, therefore I’ve just sold my holdings @16.55 pence. A small loss, but hell, why risk taking a bigger hit by holding longer?
Its quite amazing that companies and their advisers think that by ignoring the Sheriff’s investigations the problem will disappear, they clearly underestimate the Sheriff’s influence and reputation with the private investor!
