Hat tip to Shareprophets for this one – ignoring it has left me still in profit but very sharply below where I was.
However it does seem like a ballsy call by Morgan. The company is, even after the update, still looking at 30% growth in sales and and profit (not EBITDA!) and sitting on net cash.
Unless you don’t believe the numbers.
I do tend to believe them and hope that the recent share premium cancellation is a prelude to paying actual cash dividends which would add credibility.
But I am now going to take a very close look at another of my holdings which is on the shorting list!
Thanks

Here is an interesting thing: JPMorgan short the stock on 10th August, then on October 14th Kabouter appear as a 7% shareholder. Who does Kabouter act for ….well that would be JP Morgan, not that their website tells you very much.

Now here is another strange tale relating to Telit Communications following the short bear raid on their shares by JP Morgan. Since they sold short and then bought 7% of the company, Telit Communications have announced two US$ 200 million + contract wins, one with the UK government. Here is opening part of the latest press release issued this morning:
Telit Communications PLC
(“Telit” or the “Company”)
Automotive Contract Wins
Telit secures $220 million supply contracts with tier-one automotive OEMs
London, November 2, 2015 – Telit Communications PLC (AIM:TCM), a global enabler of the Internet of Things (IoT), is pleased to announce that it has recently secured supply agreements for its cellular modules with two tier-one automotive suppliers, with expected revenues of up to $33 million.

Steve – If you haven’t already seen it, you will likely find Paul Scott’s recent entry – and the associated debate in the Comments section – for TCM in his Stockopedia Small-Cap Value Report blog for 6th Nov an interesting read:

Disclosure: I still do not have any position in TCM, nor do I have any intention to take one.
