It is time to reveal which dicksplash sent Monday’s lawyer’s letter. It really is the most inept attempt at bullying yet. Step forward Julian Hamilton Barns and lawyers Pennington’s.

MissedIt?
From the Letter…
Shareprophets.com website on 30 September 2015 Using the pseudonum “Newt Seaman”) entitled ‘Athabasca Resources to list on AIM’ (the “Second Article”)
I can’t see that one. Were they referring to this one?

One of the reforms to the defamation act that came into force on 1 Apr 14 introduced a defence for website owners, provided they took no editorial control and had nothing to do with the writing of articles. Obviously SP could never claim that defence, but others now can. I still bet that 99.99% will still pull any article on receipt of a letter like that. What really makes me laugh is the way they try to use their previous bullying of websites as evidence to support their bullying of you (and me).

Missedit?
From the crap letter I got, I am not 100% sure they managed to find the article either.

@DS are you NS and can I claim my £5? <- Feel free to ignore.
Elsewhere,

Oil Recovery Services has been Gazetted. Athabasca Oil Recovery Services looks like it might be taking on the role of the original..
Any relevance?

Captain Pugwash,
How did you work out the drunken sailor would also be (a pissed as a) Newt Seaman?
I also post as fishermansfriend on ADVFN after the bullying bastards at TXO complained enough about my posts to get my DS account banned.
Oil Recovery Services has Gideon Botha (call me Ian) Roos and Tim Baldwin on the board – they have the completely unpatented wonder technology that cleans up oil spills on the beach and is 400 time more efficient than steam at getting oil out of an in situ oil sands project (but definitely works according to bully boy lawyers Penningtons (I wonder just how many lies Penningtons might have told between the letter sent to Tom and the one to me.
And people used to think I could not have any fun researching shit little companies like TXO.

Lucky Guess. What chance that they let ORS fold into AORS and avoid having to state how dire things are.. bit of a novice question. I suppose that for the avoidance of doubt I should state it was your research that caused me to look a bit harder. Assuming this oil extraction is all it is cracked up to be I do hope that they have an NDA in place with the ‘specialist engineer’ and as a result can disclose no details of their findings or indeed the identity of the ‘specialist engineer’ themselves. Erm, unless you request the information during disclosure…

They would have to go via administration. The administrator has to do the best deal he can for creditors (does not give a shit about shareholders, they get what, if anything, is left). ORS has significant negative equity. All the other companies are empty cashless shells worth £64.80 inc VAT (if I remember Tom’s oft quoted figure correctly) so none could pay anything to the administrator so a quick pre pack is not on the cards.
The technology is, as far as I can determine, completely unpatented.
