Hello Share Bottlers. I’ve held shares in Centamin (CEY), the Egyptian gold miner for some years now. Given the dramatic events that have shaken that interesting country, the share price has followed rather a boring path.

Morning Malcolm. The legal to-ings and fro-ings may be complicated but it is fair to say that a favourable outcome would be very beneficial for the company. It might also have been fair to say that an unfavourable outcome could see shareholders wiped out by the confiscation of the mine by the government. It’s a double-or-nothing play in my view: red or black.
