Tom, there’s some lunatic called Sathnam Sanghara writing in the Times today who wants more Chinese directors promoted to boards of FTSE 100 companies. I’d be interested to know your views on this.

I reckon Imaginatik shows exemplary use of, ahem, imagination actually Tom. Admitted at first sight it might seem odd for a company that has resolutely and steadfastly burned over £7m of shareholder money over the past six years, where sales have gone nowhere and sporting negative equity at the interim stage now to be worth £7m when it was valued at less than £3m in early June. That would, however, ignore the brilliant strategy of “our Founder” (hallowed be his name), as he is called, whose brilliance, while much vaunted in the areas of telematics, stamping down the cost of claims, scaffolding and fish and chip shops – extends, lest we forget, to leisure. A cursory popping of the Imaginatik registered office postcode- PO16 8UU – (Cams Hall Estate, Fareham) into Google maps reveals clear locational, and cross/up/down/sideways sell synergies with Quob Park Estate. It is not clear to me whether Imaginatik already owns the adjacent Cams Hall Estate Golf Club, but there is no doubt in my mind that the genius mastermind, he of Skylark fame, has plans to wrongfoot the naysayers by creating a full brand-extended global golf titan that will rock the likes of wanna be disruptive players such Apple and Palantir to the core…
