Tom, – what’s the difference between the Sefton shareholder with “insider” information disclosing that there is a placing and you disclosing the Rose placing? Are you encouraging people to sell in the same way that the Sefton shareholder is encouraging people to buy? Surely somebody must have broken the law at some stage in order for your Rose information to become public?
TW Note: I was not made an insider and therefore as a journalist am fine to print. If I am made an insider on a placing I say nothing to anyone. The chap here was claiming a special link to Sefton & thus one assumes an insider. Except it was not true.Daniel Victor
Tom,most of the bearcast listeners [myself included] actually like you – even though you helped cost some of us with RSH.It’s just the one or two who you annoy who say some nasty things.Don’t descend into paranoia !

I really don’t follow the logic that people who are daft enough to take tweets from anyone, including Chris Oil as grounds for buy decisions are in need of protection.
Surely anyone who stakes their cash in POS companies are not investors, they are gamblers. Sefton, New World etc all fall into this category.
To the letter of the law of course it is market abuse, but there is surely a danger that we trivialize market abuse by reporting it so often to the FCA; to the point that criminals such a Rob Terry get away with it?

Thanks for the Bearcast Tom and for dealing with the snakes in AIM. I delight in the fact that the snake in the grass at the hovel has not proved to be your nemesis. I don’t invest much in AIM, but thanks for being the investor’s “reality check” in this market. How do you find the time to do all this? What are you taking? Maybe you could sell me some!

I’m thinking of all the Bulletin Board Morons (who probably won’t be looking over their shoulder because they are too stupid )

I am a uber bear and think a massive financial crash is coming. Trouble is timing, could be Oct this year could 2,3,5 years from now but I think it will be big. When you look at what is stacking up, pretty amazing. James Rickards is a great one to look at too @JamesGRickards
Zero Hedge is a fantastic site, compelling reading. Would be great to get some guest posts on ShareProphets from them. Could UK exposure for his site and some “wake up” realisations for us all
