That New World Oil & Gas (NEW) is an omnishambles is clear. Ben Turney has one route for going forward (see HERE) which has made him the hero of the LSE Asylum and the twitter lynch mob. I regard his actions as morally reprehensible but publish his articles anyway as I support free speech. But his case is both misleading and shocking in that it targets the very folk that I thought he, Brokerman Dan, Nigel Somerville, Malcolm Stacey and others who have written on this website wanted to protect – ordinary punters.

You say that you don’t want to see PI’s get burned yet you are only too keen to ensure that PI’s do precisely that when Lucien Miers announces he is short of a stock and you go into overdrive in support of his short position!
TW Note: Bollocks. If Lucian spots a fraud I am happy to go after it., That's my job protecting PIs by exposing frauds. If Lucian says a stock is overvalued I may or may not agree with him. By what measure have you determined that this revolutionary uprising will only hurt the little guy?
The major players here must surely be the same brokers/traders who participated in the conditional placing. And those aren’t the little guys. And even your notional players who assign some fun money to their brokers so that they can benefit from placings don’t strike me as the real little guys either – although some of them doubtless patrol the BBs to pump or dump whatever long or short positions they hold.
In any event, the only loser here will be the house broker who seems to have issued contracts for placing shares which he had no right to assign since the shares had not been voted into existence. Anyone acting in good faith on that worthless contract can sue the issuing broker for any losses incurred.

Naked shorting is wrong and it could be possible some of this really does tarnish your reputation as someone who sticks to his morels.

Personally I’ve been on my arse before I know what its like, no twat had mercy on me and i’m sure those short wouldn’t if the shoe was on the other foot. That is the bottom line and even the self acclaimed twat of aim that you are cannot dictate who does or doesn’t make money!! ATB.

Most PI will actually be long ……..its traders that will be short . Shorts squeezes happen all the time on shorted stocks ……… its all part of trading ……….. long or short , albiet differing ultimate risk levels . If one does not like the heat ………………… then stay on the long side .

As usual …….. when your wrong result to the insults ! Only you could fail to see your weekend output was a bit “ hippo….. crat on a bender” darling . Its very hard predicting how the market will behave ……as many a trader will tell you . Best stick to what your very, very good at …….. forensic accounting to uncover fraud or cash and profits ;-) . The market is reacting more and more strongly each month to pieces that you, Malcolm , Ben , Nigel and some others on SP write . The tail is starting to wag the dog at times. Its a powerful, powerful thing being able to move a market at will with carefully crafted words ……… but risk telling the market how it should react on opening ………. you reap what you sow in this life and the market will come back and spank you . Remember how your great friend RT used to tell the market what QPP should be worth in the early days and the market spanked him , repeatedly, for it ;-)
