At the bottom end of AIM there are a raft of investment companies most of which are absolute POS lifestyle companies. It is all too easy to write the lot off as vehicles to allow useless directors and City parasites to milk the gravy train, if that is not mixing metaphors. But there is the odd nugget of value and that brings us to this month’s share tip of the month, Vela Technologies (VELA).

This looks like another Insetco in the making, on a fast train south. I would suggest if this type of stock appeals, wait until it bottoms out. Looks like there is a lot of selling still to come through before a possible recovery takes place. Another high risk stock TW, thought you might have played it safe after the nightmare that was Insetco! Know the risks in the AIM casino, this is high risk! Only BET what you can afford to lose. TW, the buy may well be .18p, but the spread on this stock is currently a whopping 25%. So you may have pay .18/.19, to buy, but only receive .15/.16 to sell. Not for me!! I would suggest you look at one of Tom’s better picks, TEA. Buy on dip, this will continue north, especially with hype around the UKIS.
