Standard life might be very good for share holders ………. but since flotation its crap for policy holders . Share holders get all the loot now . They are forever sending me letters saying my morgage endowment has a short fall ……… and they might help me make it up(!) …….. but then again they might not ……………..its called a “ Standard life morgage endowment promise to make up a shortfall” but not as you know it Jim . Just if “we” feel like making up the shortfall for you at maturity date . If we are in a bad mood on the day of maturity, then tough shite Mr “Standard life endowment promise holder” . Try planning ahead for that you suckers . Wankers does not even begin to cover it where standard life is concerned . Fortunately I long since made other arrangements to pay off my morgage with a company that actually does what it says on the tin.
