Infinity Energy (#INFT) suspended from AIM Casino for failing to do an RTO - another Paul Shackleton disaster

Why the sudden interest in Infinity Energy?

There suddenly seems to be a lot of excitement all over twitter and the bulletin boards about a tiny AIM shell called Infinity Energy SA (INFT) – but of course that wouldn’t have anything at all to do with the recent placing and placees looking to offload for a quick profit!

Not exactly a share structure designed to maximise liquidity or discount to NAV!!!Contains some good companies including my fave Zegona which has been on an absolute tear for 18 months and is fated to be taken out by Telefonica at £25-30 per share versus £17.5 now.À far easier to do 2x, though, is CHRY at 66p with a 130p NAV and is in wind up mode. Basically it is a 10% stake in Starling Bank plus some other stuff. Starling is an IPO in 2-3 years time on the NYSE (and also holds a very valuable software co, Engine). So there shd be 2 years worth of growth plus the elimination of the illiquidity discount on top of current NAV.Waz Shakoor says he has weighed in heavily on this name, as have I.

Fair point. On one of your podcasts asking for contributions you mentioned that Steve had done a piece and then said, to paraphrase, "If he wins, he can't go anyway"

Yesterday HL notified me that there has been an offer to exchange some of my holdings for "Realisation shares". The decision has to be made by noon on the 16th. I'm not sure what to do yet.

Peter Schiff like Zak Mirs “technical analysis” has been the kiss of death.I have been reading and listening to views like this for literally decades. To date the system has survived despite predictions that the judgement day is just round the corner. The huge fall in living standards appears to have been the price that has been paid by the ordinary person.Gold should have an upward move sometime in 2027.
