Idox plc – full-year trading statement sees guidance maintained, but is it reassuring enough?

Idox plc (IDOX) has updated that results for its year ended 31st October 2014 “will be in line with market expectations, with revenues 6% higher on last year” and that it “has made good progress across its businesses, allowing it to maintain its forward guidance”. The following updates after I, early this year, identified the shares as a possible small recovery punt as they were recovering from around the 30p level.

IDOX

Idox plc – trading recovery momentum continuing?

In reviewing results from Idox plc (IDOX) in June I noted its emphasising that its “Engineering Information Management division has been substantially restructured to improve its customer service and account management, in line with the successful public sector approach”. I update in the following on further evidence that this is paying off and what it suggests for the shares.

Idox – AGM trading update, a “positive start to the year”

Idox plc (IDOX) has announced a “positive start to the year” and that it “expects that the changes made to the business, which began in 2013, will deliver further benefits in the second half of the current financial year”. The following reviews after I highlighted the shares as a potential recovery punt at 32.5p on full-year results last month (see HERE) and today’s news having helped them further higher to a current 43p.

IDOX

Idox plc - full-year results, a recovery opportunity?

Public sector software and engineering information management-focused Idox plc (IDOX) has announced results for what it describes as a “disappointing” year to 31st October 2013. This is reflected in the share price – which reached 59.5p during the period but is just now recovering from around the 30p levels. Is there now a recovery opportunity here?

IDOX

Idox –when is a new “contract win” not such a new contract win

Idox plc (IDOX), the AIM-listed supplier of specialist document management software and services, has announced that its Engineering Information Management division has agreed a new seven year licence contract to supply its cloud-based ‘McLaren Collaboration Workspace’ solution to “a major US-based, global project management, engineering, construction and procurement services provider, until 2020”. Initially the deal is worth $1.725 million for software licences and the first years’ support and maintenance, though shares in IDOX are little changed on the back of the announcement, at a current 31.5p…

IDOX

Idox plc - what to expect from upcoming full-year results?

Supplier of specialist document management software and services, Idox plc (IDOX) is scheduled to this month release results for its year ended 31st October 2013. With, at a current 32p, the shares down by more than 15% since the start of that year and 46% from their 59.5p February highs, the following looks at what to expect.

IDOX

Idox plc - contract win, but no rush to buy the shares

Supplier of specialist document management software and services, Idox plc (IDOX) has announced an initial $1.5 million contract win with “a leading oil and gas company in Canada” by its Engineering Information Management division. The following updates, with the shares currently up more than 2.5%, to 34p, in response.

IDOX

IDOX plc - worth following the Chairman?

Following June released interim results AIM-listed software and information management and services company IDOX plc (IDOX) announced last month that it had completed the (initial £0.3 million and up to £0.6 million) disposal of its non-core recruitment business, TFPL Ltd, and that Chairman Martin Brooks had purchased £24,934 of shares in the company at 36.4p each – taking his shareholding to 7,970,027 shares (2.29%). Following a previous piece on the company on this website – see HERE – the following updates…

Idox plc - review of profit warning as shares down sharply

Shares in Idox plc (IDOX), an AIM-listed supplier of software and services to the UK public sector and global engineering information markets, presently trade more than 18% lower today, at a current 37.5p, as the company has reported a “disappointing” first half year (to 30th April) performance “impacted by delays in new Engineering Information Management licence sales in particular”.

Sell IDOX (IDOX): Risk Still Towards 30p

Today's plunge for IDOX shares certainly seems to have ruffled the feathers of bulls of this stock if that is not mixing metaphors painfully. However, as can be seen from the daily chart since start of the year the decline has not been an overnight affair, and despite the losses we have already seen, there could be more to come once the dust has settled on the latest gap to the downside.
