By Tom Winnifrith, the Sheriff of AIM | Monday 23 September 2024

Disclosure: I have no positions in any stocks mentioned, and no plans to initiate any positions within the next 72 hours. I wrote this article myself, and it expresses my own opinions. I am not receiving compensation for it (other than from ShareProphets). I have no business relationship with any company whose stock is mentioned in this article.

It was back in the Autumn of 2022 when London’s worst Nomad, Roland “fatty” Cornish waddled back from a fine luncheon centred on seasonal game in a red wine jus and signed off on an RNS from Vast Resources (VAST) stating that, inter alia, it would not have to issue new shares again. Within months it was issuing shares in a deeply discounted placing and it has had to do so again and again and again to keep paying the bills including the fees of Fatty.
