Disclosure: I have no positions in any stocks mentioned, and no plans to initiate any positions within the next 72 hours. I wrote this article myself, and it expresses my own opinions. I am not receiving compensation for it (other than from ShareProphets). I have no business relationship with any company whose stock is mentioned in this article.
Sadly Thomas Cook (TCG) did not as I had hoped serve up a profits warning today. Its shares are broadly unchanged at 122p but its trading statement is far from inspiring and the City knives are still out for PR obsessed CEO Harriet Green. She cannot afford to slip.

No mention of the urine coloured , folded over , used panti pad as their new company symbol then . I wonder who thought that one up?

Wow. Amazing.
You can’t admit when you’re wrong.
Last week you were clapping hands happy that Harriet was going. You were like a kid in a sweet shop told that everything was free.
Now, when the real results are out you sound like you’ve swallowed something bitter. Goddam that share price remaining roughly level when you predicted its demise.
Oh well, maybe the next share price you mock might go down. There’s a law of averages that says you’ll be right one day

AKCSL shall we just get the facts right?
My first bearish piece on TCG was 19 May. The shares were 150p They are now 122p. So i was in fact RIGHT.
Lets go through my other big sell calls which have pissed off BB Morons like you
*Globo DOWN
GKP DOWN
CUP DOWN
*RRL DOWN
*SER DOWN
*BLNX DOWN
QPP DOWN, THEN UP A LOT THEN DOWN A LOT
IOFINA DOWN
OUTSOURCERY DOWN
I asterisk those who have sent me lawyers letters for my efforts.
Do you detect a patter there you cretin? Yes I am right on the whole and BB Morons like you ignore me, threaten me and attack me and lose money as a result.
Best wishes
Tom
PS Monitise DOWN!AKCSL
Tom,
I think we can very quickly establish who the real cretin is here by re-reading your OWN piece.
profits warning. Of that I am certain. – Oops wrong there.
My favourite bit is where you say when you wrote the piece the share price was 150p. Are you sure, are you REALLY sure? Lets see what the witless Tom wrote;
“The shares have nose-dived from 180p at the start of May to just over 120p now” Whaaaatttt??? You just told us above that it was 150p when you wrote the article. You call me a cretin yet you can’t even get your own facts right.
Sorry pal, but your research is as poor as your lexicon.

AK
You are incorrect. The first negative piece here is 19 May when the sp was 150p http://www.shareprophets.advfn.com/views/5535/exclusive-vicious-attack-on-thomas-cook-boss-harriet-green-by-city-transport-guru
You also insisted that “one day I’d call a sell right”. I provided evidence that so far I have got all my big sell calls right
As such you are wrong yet again, I am vindicated on all the big sell calls. I hope you ignored them all and bought more and are living in penury as a result...as a cretin like you deserves to
Best wishes

Hi Tom,
Think your being a bit harsh on HG.
Aknoweldge her achievments, tough decision making (ie closing surplus shops, sometimes two or more in the same high street) + other initiatives.
On another note/suggestion
I think it would be fun for your site to have an occasional bull and bear views, and invite journalists/tipsters to a head to head. Just a suggestion.
ps, well done on qpp, but your wrong longterm tcg!
