Notes from Underground – Most read articles for the week ending September 13

The most read non-Tom article this week is KEFI – Incident At Tulu Kapi Leaves Project Suspended….But A Buying Opportunity For The Brave by Nigel Somerville at number 1, or number 1 with Bearcasts.

Most Read

  1. KEFI – Incident At Tulu Kapi Leaves Project Suspended….But A Buying Opportunity For The Brave

Shares in AIM-listed Kefi (KEFI) are sharply lower today at just over 0.7p (last seen) after the company announced that there had been a security incident last Friday which resulted in multiple fatalities amongst security personnel, community members and a company employee. Project development has been suspended and drawdowns of project finance have been deferred for the time being.

  2. When cowards flinch and traitors sneer…I have been brave and bought

Rothschild was asked why he was buying when there was blood on the streets. He answered that he was buying because there was blood on the streets and that had made everyone panic.  My friend and broker, the Dinosaur, and others think I’m foolish. I think I am brave but that my bravery is founded on solid logic. We shall see.

  3. I think folks are being unfair regarding Kefi and immediate updates

I stand by my decision to buy more shares in Kefi Gold & Copper (KEFI) yesterday BECAUSE there was blood on the street. Time will tell whether I was brave and right and following a clear logic or whether I was just a fool. But this morning demands come in by email and I see similar demands on BBs saying that old ‘arry Adams is failing shareholders in mot providing an RNS update. As you know I will criticise ‘arry when I feel it is right to do so but on this matter folks are 100% wrong.

  4. Paul Mathieson continues to threaten Tom Winnifrith: another charming email

As you can see on the comments section Mr Mathieson is not letting up. And he has sent me another charming email. Another one for the Police. This may not be a death threat but can anyone explain why this is not harassment?

  5. Chris Rokos flees to Greece – another golden egg laying goose goes

Last year hedge fund manager Chris Rokos paid £330 million in UK income tax making him the 3rd largest payer of income tax in the country. The tax he paid is equivalent to that paid by c12,000 folks earning £100,000 a year or 52,000 folks earning £35,000 a year. But he is off to Greece and why aren’t we all following?

  6. GOTCHA! 80 Mile “merger” with Greenland Energy – it doesn’t admit that its broker quit

What 80 Mile PLC (80M) is NOT telling you in today’s RNS is that its joint broker Zeus has quit. That is not because of today’s joke all paper merger with Nasdaq dog Greenland Resources but because of a series of regulatory failings not least the recentplacing scandal that the FCA and AIM Regulation are all over. It is not obliged to announce a broker resignation but I thought you should know. As to the deal… it’s a total rum ‘n’ coke

  7. Medpal AI – hiring this NED is like asking Gary Glitter to monitor the child minders

A Non Executive Director is meant to be a person of independent means and integrity who will hold executive directors to account. What is Jason Drummond, advised by evil PR genius Councillor Bick thinking as Medpal AI (MPAL) has just hired a new NED. Even the great Councillor Bick cannot polish this turd.

  8. Optibiotix – here’s one it made earlier, and it wonders why nobody believes a word it says

Today Optibiotix (OPTI) has updated investors on progress of its Sweetbiotix product. Suffice to sat it is all sugar free jam tomorrow. In case you doubted that, I remind you of events back in September 2020, 6 years ago.

  9. Does Baker McKenzie really condemn antisemitism or does it condone it by acting for those who weaponise it?

In 2021 Law giant Baker Mckenzie signed a declaration by several big law firms to rid the world of the evil of anti semitism. The words were strong as you can see below but words are one thing.

  10. EXPOSÉ: Bluebird – discounted placing ahoy, bonkers acquisition is a related party stinker and making no sense at all

Bluebird (BMV) has today announced that it has paid £75,000 in cash for a 120 day option to buy El Alamo Resources Ltd for £250,000 – with more payments depending on progress. This stinks to high heaven.

The most-listened-to Bearcasts this week were:

  1. Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: reflections on Sharestock included a buy and sell idea from the speakers

The Mrs says she will be a running another event next September 4 so put the date in your diary. The threatened drone attacks and presence of Pail Mathieson and his advisors did not materialise.  He was not mentioned at all. I reflect on what did happen.

  2. Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Evil's wise words and RentGuarantor

I start with things you can't say or shouldn't say and Kefi Gold & Copper (KEFI)and a personal matter for me, then it is Medpal AI (MPAL) and finally Evil Knievil's wise words and another reason why RentGuarantor (RGG) is a short. Finally a few words about Sharestock 2027. The date is September 4 2027 and early bird/cheap rate booking is now open HERE

  3. Tom Winnifrith bearcast: the maths on why we should ALL move to Greece and a wholly bogus $144m profit reported on AIM

I follow up on my earlier piece on Chris Rokos moving to Greece by explaining why we should all move to Greece. I look at how new sanctions on Israel will backfire badly costing thousands of British jobs and finally the most bogus profit in the history of AIM at Tek Capital (TEK) as it tries a desperate pre-place ramp.

  4. Tom Winnifrith Bearcast No 2: Kefi

I start with the cross dressing lunatic pal of Clem Chambers behind "Baker Street Inv" then turn to today's statement and why I plan, ceteris paribus, to buy more shares in Kefi Gold & Copper (KEFI) shortly.

  5. Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Tomorrow is 25 years since that awful day

I consider the grim anniversary of 9/11 then it is 80 Mile (80M), Ariana (AAU), THG (THG) -with a couple of GOTCHAs - and the Jim Mellon news for September 2027

  6. Tom Winnifrith Bearcast 3: Union Jack says its former board broke the law and then rewards them

The new board at Union Jack Oil (IJO) and its scumbag City advisors, notably the tossers at law firm Beechcrofts, have betrayed the shareholders. The Reabold (RBD) bid was doomed before this afternoon's circular from Union, it still is and Reabold shares will tank. But Union Jack's new board have shown themselves to be spinleless and have blown any goodwill they might have been shown. Crime should not pay. Transparency should not be a 4 letter word.

  7. Tom Winnifrith Bearcast No 1: Worthless dog Futura could just be another New World and the same gents are involved

I do not think that Futura Medical (FUM) will bow up the system as New World Oil & Gas (NWO) did in 2015 but there is just a tiny chance. And amazingly it is the same enablers involved. Does nobody ever learn? I recall the events of 2015 and what is happening today.

  8. Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Craig Howie (the City chap) vs Richard Jennings (the oik)

I compare and contrast the way they have behaved since ousting awful managers at Union Jack (UJO) and Kazera Global (KZG) respectively. There is some shocking news on both companies.
