On March 5 the David Lenigas spoof London Bitcoin Company (BTC) ‘fessed that it had been forced to sell 5.99 of its bitcoin to realise $474,409 to pay bloated PLC costs as well as its early stage gold exploration activities. Since then, the bitcoin price has fallen sharply meaning that the company’s 1000 strong bitcoin mining fleet will be burning even more cash. In short London Bitcoin must be almost out of fiat and struggling to pay its bills.
