Disclosure: I have no positions in any stocks mentioned, and no plans to initiate any positions within the next 72 hours. I wrote this article myself, and it expresses my own opinions. I am not receiving compensation for it (other than from ShareProphets). I have no business relationship with any company whose stock is mentioned in this article.
Though he is wrong on almost all matters, there are a few things myself and the Euroloon Jonathan Price can agree on: that our mutual lifelong support of West Ham is painful; that Price’s Mrs is way out of his league and that the Daily Mail is an abomination of a publication. Its financial section is, as I have flagged up on many occasions, guilty of gross moral turpitude. Pumping La Willingham’s Nightcap (NGHT) with bogus numbers was one crime. But the regular crime is carrying the Proactive Column with no mention of how the stocks pumped with grossly misleading copy are ones that pay Proactive.
This weekend’s push is Lift Global Ventures (LFT) the shitco run by Brown Envelope Man Zak Mir and Dave Richards of the $1 billion Wandisco fraud infamy.
The article bigs up the career of Richards at Wandisco but neglects to mention the fraud and how Richards trousered huge bonuses thanks to the fraudulent numbers which he declined to repay. That fraud has cost investors 98% of their moolah. The article neglects to mention how he used corporate funds from Wandisco to get a personal shirt sponsorship deal and corporate box at Sheffield Wednesday FC at a cost of $386,000.
It neglects to mention that Lift spaffed three quarters of a Bernie, most of its balance sheet, on a disastrous related party oil investment and that it has almost no balance sheet left and is burning cash. It fails to mention the litigation which could take out most, if not all, of what is left on the balance sheet or how Mir’s pump and dump activities breach all sorts of FCA Rules and are at the heart of the business. It fails to mention how accounts out this week breached all sorts of accounting rules.
As such the article is utterly unbalanced and misleading. Dickhead author Jamie Ashcroft should be ashamed of himself and the wretched Mail really should explain why it continues to run the bent Proactive column at all.
