Meyer is still a fugitive from the UK with an arrest warrant outstanding for contempt of court over an unpaid legal bill. But that is just one matter. She as unpaid taxes owing to HMRC and the IRS in the US. She presented false accounts for her Ariadne flagship to potential investors just weeks before it went bust showing its assets were bogus and leaving dozens of contractors, staff, the taxman, banks and others out of pocket. She faced scandal in Malta over unpaid taxes. The list of her crimes goes on and on.
