Symphony Environmental Technologies (SYM) has announced EBIT of £0.41 million, up from £0.21 million, for its core business in the first half of its current year to end 2014 and that it is “excited by the opportunities and markets that have been opened so far, and anticipate second half performance to at least match that of the first half with many opportunities expected to come to fruition during 2015”.

What a nauseating name for a company .

SYM & Michael Laurier have been one of the biggest purveyors of jam tomorrow on AIM for the last 15 years. Always promises of great things on the horizon which amount to nothing, always some new gizmo which disappears without trace. Every results it’s more pie in the sky BS to keep Laurier, his family & an incompetent BoDs happily at the trough for another year. Look back through the results over the last decade, SOS, different year.
TW, surprised you haven’t investigated the hard money loan from Mrs Laurier to SYM on which she is collecting 2% PER MONTH interest! We pay her husband way more than he’s worth, he gives it to his Missus, she lends our money back to the company at a usurious vig Tony Soprano would approve of.
Wonderful.
Just the kind of AIM shareholder screwing shenanigans the Sheriff of AIM should be investigating!

Revenue actually fell compared to last year all though costs were better controlled .
Ultimately its a nice concept flawed in execution . What they need is some good salesmen/women who can get some orders in . Otherwise it will stay a jam tomorrow director gravy train for ever .

Juicin Drumroll, you could be right. TW you called this wrong I think.

Yet another set of shite results, more promises of great things on the horizon & the SP drops 20%. With nothing but Michael Laurier’s now very tired spin & hot air to support it, it will continue to drop.

As dependable as the sun rising in the E., SYM disappoints year in year out. Michael Laurier has had 18 years of pointless fiddling while he strings investors along, getting paid ridiculous money for being a serial purveyor of jam tomorrow, employing family members & paying his wife through outrageous loan arrangements. He has proven himself incapable of doing anything worthwhile with SYM. Over 18 years, a corner shop in a residential neighbourhood will have made more money than SYM!
Laurier passed his sell by date YEARS ago & along with most of the BoDs needs to go, especially the professional trougher Deva who doesn’t understand the role of NED is to look out for shareholders, not himself & his mates on the board.
TW, why haven’t you exposed the YEARS of flim-flam from Laurier instead of supporting this snake oil salesman?

dont hold back Juicy Jam Roll
say what you think !
I like the product concept ………….. like you I think the board ( bored) are a bunch of gravy trainers hoping that shareholders will keep them in a style they would like to become accustomed for ever . Sack the board and put Dell Boy Lemongas in as Chairman and the thing would fly . As it is they could not sell their way out of a wet paper bag . Sales fell ……….yes SALES FELL when the whole world wants plastic off the beachs and out of the seas and rivers . Cant be that hard to sell the fecking stuff can it ! and as former salesman I should know .
