Crimson Tide – as I cautioned, another ‘no intention to make an offer’ announcement

Disclosure: I have no positions in any stocks mentioned, and no plans to initiate any positions within the next 72 hours. I wrote this article myself, and it expresses my own opinions. I am not receiving compensation for it (other than from ShareProphets). I have no business relationship with any company whose stock is mentioned in this article.

Previously writing on ‘process management’ technology company Crimson Tide (TIDE), last month with the shares up towards 270p I noted that there still looked some clear upside potential but, with that other possible offer proposal only being considered by the board and being conditional, non-binding and announced without the consent of the possible offeror, I’d at least take some off the table/avoid. There has now been a “Statement of no intention to make an offer”.
