Gear4Music – time to call a bottom?

By Tom Winnifrith | Tuesday 25 June 2024

Disclosure: I have no positions in any stocks mentioned, and no plans to initiate any positions within the next 72 hours. I wrote this article myself, and it expresses my own opinions. I am not receiving compensation for it (other than from ShareProphets). I have no business relationship with any company whose stock is mentioned in this article.

For longer than I can remember I have been a bear of Malcolm Stacey fave Gear4Music (G4M) and I have been right. My real, long term, issue is, I suppose, that I am so mean. If I wanted to buy a musical instrument for one of my kids I would buy a second hand one on facebook marketplace. As with ProCook (PROC) I just do not see a USP for a company flogging costly new products. But maybe most folks are not as mean as me and are happy to burn cash. Results are out today.
