I was a little busy yesterday, so I missed much of the “excitement” about Metro Bank (MTRO). I have regarded it as a strong avoid for years, as I most recently discussed in May. You can guess who will get the better deal from its desperate selling of various mortgage exposures to other bank names…I will happily continue to avoid the company at all levels. Spot the reality of a higher interest rate world kicking in for more and more corporate names globally!
