Another day and another “contract win” announced by Avanti Communications (AVN) – natch the value is undisclosed. Friday’s Victor Meldrew “contract win” was – as I explained HERE – very peculiar indeed. And the directors are all making small share purchases. Its ramp ramp ramp time because Avanti desperately needs to do a placing.

You are correct. I first tipped Avanti at 116p. My mistake was still tipping it at £8. At about £3 I recognised that I was wrong, apologised publicly and several times and changed tack. I have never hidden that and have now been bearish for almost 18 months.
Would you rather that I continued to say buy and failed to admit that I was wrong?
You of course make no mistakes. If you think a share is cheap you make a constructive comment. My job is tipping shares but if I tip something I am accused of ramping.
So you offer constructive comment. I ramp. You are never wrong. I am not allowed to admit I have been wrong and apologise & change my mind.
It must be so easy being you.
