With the Maltese Police desperate to locate Julie Meyer MBE as she avoids criminal charges, with the SFO, MFSA and FCA running enquiries not to mention investigations by the tax authorities into evasion in the US, UK and Malta you could have forgiven Ms Lingerie on Expenses for going to ground. But she has been spotted in London. Quck – if you are one of the many to whom she owes money and want to serve her hurry down to the Royal Institution, Mayfair, W1S 4BS. Meyer has been spotted! Meanwhile...
Her ex PR man Henry Gewanter has upped the ante. He has already served a letter before action against Ms Meyer personally for unpaid fees. Now his lawyers have also served a letter on Ariadne Industries, one of the shell companies in the Ariadne ponzi empire. When Meyer, its sole shareholders and director, fails to respond on its behalf, Gewanter will be proceeding to take both to Court.
I am led to believe that court filings have been prepared and will be lodged against both parties within seven days.
Gewanter says that he expects to win and then in enforcing his claim will not hesitate to issue winding up proceedings against Ariadne industries and a bankruptcy order against Ms Meyer.
