Another email arrives at Winnileaks which shows how Julie "Lingerie on Expenses" Meyer is, not for the first time, running rings around Andrew Duncan of Leonard Curtis who is supposed to have had sole charge of Ariadne Capital Limited since it went into administration on 18 December 2017. But laws are for little people. Julie and her finance gopher Steve Piper were still taking decisions for Ariadne, moving assets out of it and backdating documents to cover their tracks well into 2018. Is Mr Duncan aware of this? Well I have made sure he is now. Surely this is a crime, in this case a £4.5 million one.
You will remember that Ariadne "sold" 85% of the worthless ECG business to Julie's ACE Fund in November 2016, booking the profit even though ACE did not pay and indeed has still not paid. But ACE claims ownership as it tries to raise fresh funds for its own little ponzi. One little problemo, the shares were not actually transferred back in 2016 so arguably with no payment having been made, at the point of administration, ACL still owned the shares. The failure to actually transfer the stock, is probably because the share transfer would have incurred stamp duty of £22,500 and ACE has no cash, having paid out vast management fees, largely to Ariadne.
So the share transfer form was not actually filed in 2016. In the email below we see Steve Piper telling Julie to sign a backdated form on January 12 2018!. And that is what she did. At every level this is criminal. And I bet you a fiver that ACE has still not paid its stamp to HMRC. As a law abiding citizen I shall report my suspicions to the taxman today.
If I was Piper I'd be shitting myself as the net closes in on Julie on so many fronts. To save his career and possibly his liberty, Piper should be brushing up on a "Good German" defence and starting to show that he will co-operate with the authorities by going to poor Duncan, whose investigations continue, to spill all the beans.
