Another no show in Malta Court by Julie Meyer - the good news is a second criminal case looms as well

By Tom Winnifrith | Wednesday 23 May 2018

Disclosure: I have no positions in any stocks mentioned, and no plans to initiate any positions within the next 72 hours. I wrote this article myself, and it expresses my own opinions. I am not receiving compensation for it (other than from ShareProphets). I have no business relationship with any company whose stock is mentioned in this article.

And so at 9 AM GMT the court in Malta opened its third attempt to try Julie Meyer on criminal charges. And for a third time Julie Meyer failed to appear. What is the devout Christian afraid of? This court will reconvene on 20th June. But my sources tell me that there is more bad news from the Maltese Courts on the way for Ms lingerie on expenses MBE.

These first set of charges relate to the non payment of wages by a Maltese Company where Meyer is the sole director. That is a criminal offence in Malta. The problem is that before Ms Meyer can be charged with contempt of Court which would be really serious she has to be personally served with papers and not only is she refusing to go to Malta but she seems to have gone into hiding generally. Her flat in London appears unused and no-one seems to know where she is.

Today's bad news for Meyer is that a second criminal case in Malta appears to bee looming with the Maltese taxman set to file papers because it appears that Ariadne Malta neglected to pay the equivalent of employers PAYE contributions. And that is a criminal offence too. The word is that this case will be brought to the Courts shortly.

Of course Meyer might opt not to attend that either. But such behaviour is likely to enrage the Maltese Government and regulators at the MFSA almost as much as her comments about how the Maltese were Marxist, corrupt, bribe addicted sexists. And at a certain stage that will see Meyer's Maltese companies struck off and dissolved which will prove that the profits and assets that Meyer claimed they had were, as I showed here earlier, bogus.

Meanwhile does anyone know where Julie Meyer is hiding out?

And can any supporter of the UK's rotten honours system tell me why there are no moves to strip this woman of her MBE?
