Find your comments strange when Mtr have loads in the bank and have just invested in MOD with cash. Why would they need to raise cash from placement. Also bod have stated no placements are required.

We’ve heard from Mtr and Andy and they’ve categorically stated there isn’t an Mtr placing, any chance your source is trying to spook investors. You seem convinced that there is placing but Tom as a journalist you should have verified whether it was true.
Also you say at a discount, but Mtr have not done a discounted placing for over 2 years. So I think that’s very irresponsible to say that. They have £3m working capital, PJ has said they will place at some point but on reasonable terms, it’s part of there model to protect pi’s from discounted placings – PJ is a PI at heart.
There are a few trying to hurt the Mtr share price. Look at the Mtr Botswana asset, that has ‘potential’ to be the worlds largest copper asset so valuation is upto investors.

Disgraceful behaviour and a very clear agenda, him and his cronies working in partnership and I bet his tryingdrop you hints.
I hope Tom you tell him that his out of order, pumping Adl and Afpo and then scaring people about Mtr which actually has decent assets.
I also hope that if this rumour was not true then you apologise (unlikely but I hope), and look into Mtr a bit deeper. It’s fresh and has potential.

As a proper journalist i did put it to broker who put it to company. They did not deny or comment. They could have killed thus.

Hopefully the broker/mtr will get in touch. I suppose it’s a difficult position for the broker. You should have called PJ on his mobile.

Hi Tom must admit you were that that were was no placing but it was not at considerable discount. As my link above shows doc said 50% discount to 4.5p so a £1m at 4.5p is great news don’t you think?

TW Note: Riz I linked to article. In that I stated facts ( placing/Thacker) and opinion ( would be at discount). Clearly latter was wrong but on facts BBMs said I was wrong/guilty of MA. Clearly I was notRiz
Yeah I personally didn’t accuse you of that so no comment on bb posters. I can understand why Mtr did not confirm or deny placing rumour. My comment earlier did say Mtr will place but they do not place at a discount so I think we’re all good ;) the live presentation on the brr media website in February PJ clearly says they will absolutely definitely do a placing. I posted the link on Twitter as he’s not hiding this.
I would however say that doc is committing market abuse as he is colluding with others who are openly shorting the stock and making outrageous claims.
Mtr has no links to rrr and we all know doc is drowning in it and is heavily down so he’s making up rumours. To me this is market abuse and he should be called out.
