Last Thursday as it struggled to meet its monthly wage bill Slater & Gordon (SGH) was also rocked by the shock resignation without notice of its senior Legal Counsel Moana Weir, the woman who had to advise it on any corporate legal issues such as insolvency and potential fraud. We still do not know why Moana walked without notice after less than six months on the job but here are a few shocking quotes from Moana.

The effect of adding the toxic Quindell to the S&G business has been to take S&G market cap from A$2700m to A$80m.
Surely, even you can see that TW was absolutely correct and you/QPPSAG/S&G all got it massively wrong. No ?

Had I been so stupid as to have ‘invested’ in QPP / WTF, then to have compounded my stupidity by lumping on SGH to prove TW wrong I think I’d beat as dignified and as quiet a retreat as was possible, not come on here & loudly & repeatedly advertise my stupidity & voice my support for a fraudster who has destroyed billions of PI & II money on two continents

Tom lost investors a massive amount of money, persuading them to sell QPP before the bid at 7 times his sell price. Tom said they were a slam dunk 0p then!

I have no idea whether you or Terry will go to jail, therefore it is extremely unlikely
that I said that. Please reference this allegation. I have merely pointed out that there is
still no sign of FCA action after 18 months.
