An employee of Slater & Gordon (SGH) is berating me on twitter for being heartless as I celebrate his firm going down the pan and asks how he should explain to his kids about his job loss and their impending homelessness. In this podcast I explain why his job loss is good news for society, why it is indeed something I celebrate and what exactly he should say to the kids as he prepares to pimp his Mrs at King's Cross in order to put food on the family table.

If SGH had not committed financial suicide buying PSD the P45s would have gone out a year ago. They should be happy that they got another year’s salary.
They get their redundancy payments and need to go and find another job, just like anyone else who loses their job.

I hate fucking lawyers and hope they all lose their jobs. My car insurance went up by over £100 ( 50%) this year despite no change in details and 15 years since I had a minor accident, the rise was I am in no doubt due to fraudulent claims helped along by unethical lawyers. I would wish them all to lose their jobs even if it meant me paying 1p a year more because of them but £100, well fuck the lot of you I hope you all rot in hell .

Some very good points here Tom but you are way too soft on the insurers. They have been one of the biggest drivers of claims for years – they made millions of pounds selling personal injury claims. And when the number of claims has gone down (as they have the last couple of years), have we all seen a drop in our premiums? Have we fuck.
