Some are trying to argue that folks have made money out of LGO Energy (LGO) as a gambling chip by trading it. Maybe some have. Most of have lost because as the truly shocking hard data below shows this has been a masterclass in ramping, value destruction and executive greed. The only real winner here has been Jabba The Hutt, Mr David Lenigas.

Drunken Sailor
Tom,
Even tax free £4,164.28 a week does not get a 100 Ft super yacht very far. Now he has been hounded out of every cushy AIM post, he really needs those LGO shares he paid 0.05p for to recover or he may have to put the yacht on a swinging anchorage and sack all the cabin boys and stewardesses.

Lenigas makes a big deal about hanging onto his holding but for all we know he could have covertly sold out in instalments when LGO was 5p and over and then bought back in when it was sub 0.9p to cover his tracks when it become mandatory to declare a holding. That would leave him with a massive profit on the deals and a fake show of faith in the company.

Here’s a proposed cast list for Share Wars, based (loosely) on Lucas’ epic.
Han Solo: must be TW, I suppose
Luke Skywalker: Ben Turney
Princess Leia: Amanda VD
Ben O-WK: must be Malcolm
Chewbacca: (Canadian) Darren
Jabba the Hut: Big DL
Boba Fett: Dan Levi
Lando Calrissian: Doc Holliday (or is it Holiday?)
C3PO: David Bick
R2D2: ?
Grand Moff Tarkin: George Osborne in twenty or so years
Yoda: was considering Chris Bailey but think it has to be Buffett
Paploo (I admit I looked that up – didn’t get past half way through ROTJ): Chris Oil
I’m still thinking about Darth Vader… ah – I know, Xavier Rolet!
Whoopee – West Ham have just equalised!
And by way of a tribute to Maurice White, the founder of Earth, Wind and Fire – the sort of popular beat combo. that wouldn’t have seemed out of place at any point in the saga – who died within the last couple of weeks, and in keeping with the general sentiment here, for your enjoyment: www.youtube.com/watch?v=yG4ktUqqPHE

What a complete load of rubbish ……….. that is Whinni Frothy Maths . The market cap is just a reflection of current oil price . BP and shell have lost 50% of Market cap in the same way in the same period .
You should worry more about all the failures you have promoted to readers like :- Teathers, Obtala, MIra , Staney Gibbons, Amara, Stratmin, Atalaya , The list goes on ……………………All LGO illustrates is what happens when oil price goes from $110 down to $27 a barrel . Most AIM companies are grossly over priced at IPO . Anyone with brains waits for a good while before entry . Thats what the stock market is all about ………. pitting your brains about market value against another punter . Its not like LGO dropped like a stone overnight . Investors had plenty of chance to exit or enter in an orderly fashion as they choose to do . Thou protesteth too much my lord . You know how the market works but you just make a fuss to suit your Del Boy vendetta . I never even invested in LGO until it was fractions of a penny and had a good run up from there …….. fall back …….. and other rally up ………… good returns with good oil price prevailing at the time . Made some money and so did loads of investors along side . What are you whinging at ………… you were on the sidelines whining away about “never owning oil stocks” meanwhile investors were getting wealthy on LGO . You missed out ……… you looked stupid for years saying “stay out of oil” . Serious investors have stop losses and sell when the price falls back , so what are you whining about you sore loser ……… use stops and put some money on . Newbies will always lose money ………… thats how you learn in this game ………. the first time you lose your shirt you learn . There is no easy way . Reading a book wont instill it ……… the first big loss does that . Some lost real big on LGO through shear inexperience . Aim is no kindergarden ………if you want that then go to FTSE 100 or a tracker .
All your tips promoted to readers at one time and all down massively

Don’t run down TW, he does a good job in warning the inexperienced of the sharks in AIM particularly those who are less than honest.
