Snake oil salesman and charlatan Darren Winters has been a plague on financial services for more than a decade, raking it in with his worthless but costly training courses. Last year he objected to my revelations about his shoddy scam and sent me lawyers letters demanding a retraction - naturally my reply was "see you in Court bitchez". Yesterday Karma bit the charlatan on the backside.

Yes, bravo — but for the record, I don’t think this is appropriate use of the SP Fighting Fund which surely should only be used when SP is the defendant (or plaintiff).

Tom, great result. as you would call it, a ‘slam dunk’. a small but perhaps significant victory against a serial con man. great use of the fighting fund, no matter if its technically what its supposed to be for. if this starts a wave of action against this vile human then that’s fantastic, I shall be spreading the news if I can.

Isn’t this just truly awful, forcing someone to pay for a course they don’t even want to take. Then demanding £10k.
If this was a business, the authorities would be (sort of) all over it. But because it is personal/services it sails through.
This is Crazy Sam Antar fraud stuff, this Winters business needs taking down for good.

Well done, great result, and pleased to see DW finally lose.
He’s been giving his “last training course” for at least 10 years, because I saw him that long ago when he drew huge crowds to central London hotels.
Just before Xmas he did a Patrick Powers evening, looking for new suckers, let’s hope people didn’t sign up and experience the same as the person that won in court.
Let’s all make sure we spread the word far and wide.
