I was interested to see the prospectus for a new cash shell called Falcon Acquisitions published yesterday. The business is headed up by Mark Gustafson and Gert Rieder and the IPO is scheduled for Monday 18 January.

33.5p is still far higher then CHAL IPO’d in February 2015
Consider Challenger IPO’d in February 2015 and reached 9.7 times the IPO price within the space of a month, demand for the Falcon Acquisition shares will certainty be strong.
The broadcast TV (Sky/ITV) business model has been seriously disrupted by on demand services like youtube, and if the Falcon team make investments in the right places, there is nothing to suggest the shareholder value delivered in CHAL will not be repeated in this new venture.
My understanding is that the Facloner IPO has been oversubscribed so I am expecting it to open around 11p/12p on Monday 18th.

Thanks for the concern. I always endeavour to get my facts and maths right but if you spot something please let me know and I will take a look.

@Mould – don’t disagree, it’s just the guys who got in at the Challenger peak mid-frenzy in that first month or so that I feel a bit for.
As I said in my piece, it looks an interesting space and I am also confident that Falcon will start well

Unfortunately as a Guernsey registered company you can’t anorak around in their filings for free as you can with UK companies using the beta service. If you are prepared to cough up £2 a document, then you can get them from here:

Not that there is much to look at at the moment and I would have expected to see at least some of those on the Falcon Company website, which does seem rather sparsely populated at the moment. It does show however that GSC SICAV plc – GSC Global Fund has 4,375,100 shares – these are the 8p pre IPO shares and therefore this is the founder. Mark and Gert and the other director William Kennish do not seem to have ponied up very much £20k, £20k and £5k in the IPO. Not particularly encouraging.
Only £280k spent getting to IPO – that is indeed cheap.
