I have just had a half sober lunch and explain what that means. I then move onto our champagne socialist, Guardian reading tosser of a Mayor here in Bristol, George Ferguson, and a pre lunch incident. Then onto Mobile Streams (MOS), Poundland (PLND) and LGO Energy (TOAST).

Oh no readers ………..he is using that Whini Maths spread sheet again . Last time he used it he had to issue an apology for getting the numbers wrong . Watch out readers ……… Whini does not know the current cash burn , he does not know the current oil output either and with out those he cant work out anything . Its all a “whinestimate” readers . The Lemongas Whindetta continues . He needs to do better readers …………. I want at least 0.18p for an entry . The oil price is doing the bashing ………. another big fall again today intra day . Whini wants to take the credit for bashing LGO down but its just the oil price readers . Down nearly 80% now .

I have avoided some losses in the past by listening to your warnings so perhaps I should have waited for your MOS comments since I have bought some. A gamble I know but then I suppose all investing is gambling’ I now find at the age of 85 how my attitude has so changed from what it used to be. I can remember agonising over share movements 50 years ago and now both success and failure make me laugh. Probably dementia of course.

Lost a bit on Poundland based on my stop loss being past and this is my own fault and you did say on this site that it had problems months ago. I think 99p was not such a good deal and I wonder if they will come up with some more bad news about the takeover. I do like this company and I will buy back in if and when the time is right but not yet.:)

Goodness Tom, you brought back memories of Clifton with a startle. Been there many times visiting a special needs school across from Durdham Downs, brings a tear to my eye. Of course it is expensive, it’s lovely. Never saw a copy of the Guardian though.
Some lovely, very ordinary pubs lurk there like the ‘Last Port of Call’.
Main point – I am in LGO (difficult times) so flipping pipe down ! ;-)

LGO compared with crude oil price and other oil stocks
Looks like many oil stocks fell about 40-50% with oil price in last six months. But LGO is down 93%

You are correct and Wildes is in denial. LGO has shite assets, has misled investors and is drowning in debt, that is why it has underperformed and that is why it may well go bust

My dentist was in Clifton and my wedding night spent at the Clifton Gorge Hotel . Do I get bonus points for that ? It was full of Bo Ho’s and students in those days .

I find when I click on the Shareprophets emails that announce your bearcasts, I’m often presented with a bearcast that is one day older than the email describes. Thus I have listened to this bearcast today, having failed in an attempt to listen to it yesterday, and having failed to access today’s bearcast just now. My comment is partly prompted by the email’s description of today’s bearcast to which I haven’t been able to listen.
I agree that retail is facing threatening changes, all the more threatening because developers insist on building more retail sites. I think pedestrianisation is more likely to be the salvation of retail than to add to its woes. Retail interests always vigorously oppose pedestrianisation, but when it is forced upon them they find that it is good for trade after all. Public and personal transport may well be revolutionised over the next 10 to 20 years, and my bet is that pedestrianised towns will find the transition easier.
