Bulletin Board Moron of the Week Competition Sponsored by Knob Park Estates ( and last week's winner)

The Bulletin Board Morons were flying last week with shareholders in Quindell, Daniel Stewart and Worthington once again showing themselves to be the most deluded fools out there. One suspects that many folks hold all three gems and are also lapping up Rob Terry's latest fraud, Knob Park Estates ( sorry I meant Quob Park). Your entries for Bulletin Board Moron of the week were as ever spectacular, can you do better this week? The entries last time were magnificent covering a full spectrum of idiocy. You can see all the entries HERE.

LSE QPP. Rumblings from within the secret squirrel clubhouse ….. If RT wants to sue somebody what on earth is he waiting for?

……..and actually, anyone who has read labrador’s QPPSAG recent post , will have to wonder whether RT had more integrity than the bully boys are indicating.

Brits are good at kicking people when they are down. I am waiting to see if RT is guilty of anything. If he isnt …I reckon he could sue Motley Fool. I have an open mind.

NB I am not an RT apologist, I just dont like unsubstantiated defamation, especially when it is a layered strip by shorting brigade.

More relentless bullshit figures from the prize QPP ramper “Bordersman/melrosian” – Robbajob 2??? Yes this prize idiot thinks S & G are going to make £486 Million in 2 years – unbelievable!

How much profit did QPP make on these when they were processing???? Post your answer Mel.

    “52K X 9K = £486 Millions. 50% of that is £243M Gross revenue / over 2 years.
Could be the Chairman guidance has materially understated HL income”.

Recent RiseToday 12:30Although some have suggested there might be a news leak, i think the rise yesterday and today is solely due to the fact that FCA have dropped the investigation. Yesterdays rise was due to this news being leaked. Although this is positive news ((its massive!)), impatient holders may turn to sell as we wait for SFO…
longer term, RT will get approval to purchase > 10% GLA

  8. havealot seems to have lost his mind and states thus: (on LSE asylum)

I agree with you entirely and as a LT shareholder in Quindell I believe the management ‘old’ and ‘new’ have let LT shareholders down entirely. Despite this being my worst investment decision in 30 years investing I still believe my original decision to invest in Quindell was based on sound fundamental analysis. Unfortunately ‘shorting’ if carried out ruthlessly on AIM companies with many ‘less than well informed’ shareholders can be self fulfilling. This coupled with poor management decision making has resulted in the present situation. Unfortunately many investors on this and other BB’s fail to understand that ‘pre-tax profit’ is an ESTIMATE for given financial period and that the estimate is based on a number of assumptions on valuations and timing. In other words ’pre-tax profit’ is not a hard and fast figure, revenue and thereby profit recognition will vary depending on the assumptions made, all of which can be perfectly legitimate. I will argue that the current assumptions being used are far LESS realistic than those used by the ‘old’ management and what is being written down as losses in the 2013/2014 accounts are not losses at all and as you quite rightly say and will reappear as a capital gain in the next interim accounts. The current management will thereby seek to justify their combined £4m bonus. I am still invested here as I believe Quindell is undervalued at the current price but I am assuming that the current management develop the business rather than attempting further fire sale downsizing for short term gain at the expense of long term holders, I am holding my breath on this one.

  9. I nominate eagle51 off the iii discussion board

‘The Serious Fraud Office is an independent government department, operating under the superintendence of the Attorney General. Its purpose is to protect society by investigating and, if appropriate, prosecuting those who commit serious or complex fraud, bribery and corruption and pursuing them and others for the proceeds of their crime. It operates in line with its statutory purpose and policies”.

    http://www.sfo.gov.uk/

“pursuing them and others for the proceeds of their crime”………….

…………would be interested to hear others’ views on what proceeds of RT’s (alleged) crimes accrued to QPP

News for YLF fans (from another part of their website):

“The current average length of an SFO case is four to six years but we are improving our processes and hope to see further reductions in these timescales”……………

What proceeds of RT’s crimes accrued to QPP ? How about £637 million in cash from selling off a dubiously constructed firm ? These ‘proceeds of crime’ boys are relentless when they get the scent of a money trail.

  10. NMH19 on LSE Asylum:

A nice little rise but wake me up when we are 30p up !!!
I just hope the company has been buying back at a price below 100p otherwise they have missed a trick !!! Perhaps – there is a background reason or reasons why the bod can’t authorise the buy back. PH come across as a good broker perhaps they can help move the company along…

  12. I enjoy this page enormously. It allows one to sit back and reflect upon the madness of the people who post on LSE.
However, I find it really difficult to distinguish between them. They simply have to be the most stupid people who have ever had access to money. How did they get it? Inheritance? Surely, it can’t possibly be that someone paid them enough money to be able to save? If so, I’d like to know the name of their employer’s so that I can short the shares.
So, I’m not posting an example, for the simple reason that it would be akin to asking who is the maddest person in a lunatic asylum.

“i may have bought some of the AVN that you were shorting this morning….
given the illiquidity this is, i think, not a stock to short potential short term spikes. also not given how huge the fundamental upside really is… in order to “get there”, AVN needs to grow sales at 40-50% this year (year started july 2015). looking at the recent contracts they announced, and assuming that every announcement is good for at least 5% of last year’s (ended june 2015) sales of USD 80m, we are half way that required growth and the new year is barely 2 months under way… add to that the growth we can safely assume from the framework agreements, and i think that the likelihood is very high that AVN sales projections will be revised upwards over the coming months. And on top of that there is always the outlier chance of an announcement on a commercial deal with Facebook, and if that happens then your short really burns you…
    anyhow, i am not a day trader, i am a “fundamentalist”…”

You didn’t find it did you, Avanti can’t find one either
