In today's podcast I look at Coms in detail and then at Rightster en passant whose PR man is the disgraced dirty tricks specialist Tim Thompson of Range Resources infamy and where there is a detailed piece to come later, before having a butchers at the ludicrous joke that is LightwaveRF. I refer to my Jiasen piece earlier and have a warning for other China Norfolks. In that vein I also mention the POS Daniel Stewart. Then en passant Mosman Oil & Gas and flip flop's Red Rock share tip.

Tom, Coms, out of morbid curiosity checked out today RNS coz I was in this POS, they are well into their OD facility with bank to keep lights on.
The way forward is equally uninspiring with talk of smart buildings with Redstone, and talented people of virtual reality at Dark side studios, 0.25p, and placings AHOY, with pleny o PR ramp, if you are so inclined, load of bollocks to keep the board in lifestyle.

Look forward to bet the ranch tips in UK Investor Mag. Could I request an article? I am very bearish as many of your writers are on the world markets. I am looking to get into some junior gold miners but have a very sketchy knowledge of gold mining sector. I have looked at Amara and Caledonia, they look pretty good but they require some capex plus I have no idea how current prices will play out on future profits.
If you have a Gold “expert” on the team, is there any chance you could do an evaluation of the UK gold stocks and the pros/cons along with some tips?
Hopefully there are some bargains out there and it will be something to grab onto if the worlds financial markets go mad. Thanks

Que? No last hurrah for Afren? Not even a link in today’s Stock Market News? Seems a bit slack.
In other news, the ailing Danish trading platform, GXG is now not being bought by CISE of Jersey. So all the fine, upstanding issuers listed – and very occasionally traded – on GXG now have 11 working days to find themselves an alternative lightly regulated home. Seems that a few dozen of these PLZs (publicly listed zombies) are about to be taken private again… Or is John Jenkins in line for a windfall?

Hi Tom,
I’m glad to see you are still finding the time to do the bearcasts, despite being on sabbatical – it’s an enjoyable part of my day, to take a break from my own work, and listen to your thoughts on various awful stocks.
I don’t necessarily always agree with you on macro topics, but you’ve certainly been vindicated on nearly all the stocks where you’ve highlighted the bear case. Although please note that one of my stocks that you were very scathing about last year, Spaceandpeople (SAL) is recovering nicely, and has nearly doubled from the lows of last year – profitable companies, with a reasonable balance sheet, usually do recover.
Keep up the good work! Although sometimes I think you would be better to take a deep breath, and not get involved in personal spats with various people who have upset you. It’s usually better to just walk away, and to let personal arguments or differences fizzle out, rather than escalate in public.
However, exposing dodgy dealings by companies is very much to be applauded.

Absence of bearcasts mean I’m much less inclined to go on the exercise machine! Keep them up – they help me lose the surplus pounds! Avoid the worst of the language, as I then won’t have to lock the children out of the room. All the family recognise the voice!

Good to hear you happy and relaxed ( can tell from the voice alone ) on your proper sabbatical . If you have a spare moment I can recommend “when Cats attack” on channel 5 ( I think ) . Consists of various vids of cats attacking everything imaginable . Laugh ………. I very nearly died . You would need to cover up Oakley’s eyes though , or he will learn lots of naughty things .

Not sure that it suitable viewing for the cats. Remember the Mrs is a lefty and would not wish to encourage aggressive behaviour in a male cat, that would be patriarchal/sexist or whatever. So Oakley will be sticking to Coronation St I suspect as a reminder of his youth in the grim Northern wastelands ( well the IOM)
