That’s nothing Sam . Quindell rose six fold after Winnifrith was telling us it was worthless, and the shares were trading at 26p last December!
TW note: and guess what - even today QPP is 76% off its top but filthy still reckons Rob Terry is a much maligned genius. Next time I wont bother warning FL he is investing in fraud and then he will be happynigel somerville
SAM – just for the record, my first bear piece on Tern went up on 2 Jan. The shares opened that day at 10.125p (figs from ADVFN.com). They closed today at 9.25p and have yet to go back over the 10.125p mark. In the current market madness they may do, but with stated NAV as at FY14 sitting around the 2p mark, that is one heck of a lot of hope in the price.

Like so many tipsters/journalists your memory seems very very selective. This site has been hammering TERN and its management for well over 12 months regards their suitability and its acquisitions, from prices well below todays. Maybe you should look back over your own archives to see the truth.

Sam,
Yes I had referred to Tern before 2jan of this year but it was in the context of another company. The points raised in a series of articles at the start of this year were generally to do with inaccurate RNSs which (to be fair to the company , Nomad and to me) led to corrections being made by Tern. I was also outraged that the company had done a placing on the back of a share price rise (of magnificent proportions) which appeared to me to have been caused by a misapprehension of an erroneous report which was taken to be an independent valuation of Cryptosoft as being worth $75m when it was a) merely reporting the transaction and b) got the number wrong – a typo of ‘m’ instead of ‘k’. a corrected report was then released by that party, which also supplied me with the source data. The fallout from that was a huge drop in the share price as it became clear that I was correct. As it happens, one major institutional investor which appears to have taken part in the placing started offloading almost immediately and for a good while afterwards, and as prices well below the 9p Xmas eve placing price. One might draw a conclusion from that.
I have also demonstrated the amount of hope in the share price of Tern, bearing in mind a very large amount of share issues in the pending column from convertible director loans at prices a very long way south of today’s price. I have also shown why far larger numbers of shares will have to be issued if conversion of those loans is going to avoid triggering rule 9 of the Takeover Code. The implied upside on Cryptosoft which appears to be priced in under these circumstances looks to me to be heroic, to say the least.
You are clearly keen on Tern. I wish you luck even if I don’t fancy your chances, but I wish no ill upon you. That, in part, is why I wrote the articles in the first place. It is why I will be happy to be proved wrong. But I don’t think I will be.
