Bulletin Board and General Election Moron of the Week - Round 18

By popular demand it is back but for the next two weeks we add a General Election twist. As ever the rules are simple. Filthylucre and Bananabob cannot post their own comments on this website as entries as they are just too good. But any other comment on a Bulletin Board or twitter is eligible.  But we also allow you to post any comment made by a politician during the Election campaign which is self-evidently ludicrous and unjustifiable. The most ludicrous or idiotic statement wins. We knew Vince Cable would come in handy one day. Although that mad Aussie who leads the Greens gives crazy old Vince a good run for his money.

  1. turbograndad

https://youtu.be/YSpL7nA5Uco Man after my own heart, celtic cousins.

  2. In relation to David talks to much gas and Mr Jasson Drummond taken off the Teathers BB…

    TheoilfinderRE: mike4.50No Opinion

Almost certainty the two have spoken as each can benefit greatly from the other, as opposed to institutions the pair of them are more focused on benefits to pi’s whilst of course getting their slice of the cake”

So astute and so stupid all at the same time!!

  3. Labour are going to win the next election , Tom is going to pay his pizza emporium staff the living wage plus 10% and Van Goddess is going to do a tasteful “women in mining” calendar …….. in the best possible taste I might add …… you know the sort of thing … leaning against the wheels of giant diggers in a big canyon type open pit mine with the sun going down and perhaps a glimse of ankle but no more than that ….. with a tip on each month ( calm yourselves I mean share tip )
There you go ….. thats that then ……… I win ……… move along ……… nothing to look at here .

Pick me , Pick me ……….. said the donkey from shrek

  4. (Source:Telegraph)

Martin Docherty, the SNP candidate for West Dunbartonshire, attacked the “British way of governing” at a candidate hustings in January.

“[It] isn’t just about this Government – it’s about the British way of governing. Don’t think they’ve been treating us like this just because it’s the Tories and the Liberals. It’s them – it’s the way they’ve treated us for 300 years. When their political establishment came together they made the decision that you and I are not the people they are interested in.

“They are interested in them, they are interested in Trident sitting in the Clyde, they are interested in feathering their own nest.”

    ——

Above just made me a laugh on a couple of levels:

    1) How’s that for a 300yr old chip on the shoulder, who is this “them”?
    2) Have the Scots not played a part in that system with a disproportionate representation at Westminster, as ministers, prime ministers, senior civil servants, bankers and industrialists? Both Blair & Brown are Scots, both Labour, both propped up by dozens of Scottish MPs returned by huge numbers of Scottish voters.

  5. DUCK AND DIVE

This is the winner. Please donate my prize money to the Cats Protection League.

Guys Best Thing To Do Is Stop Posting Paper Coments on here If they are not good ones. All that is doing is helping them to bring down the share price and have a go at D.L. So dont do it. One More thing be positive.

  6. Lily Savage to leave the UK if the conservatives win the election.

He said: “I can’t live under this bloody government any more. I am going to get a house on the Lido in Venice. I have paid a fortune in tax and I will say ‘you can have that mate’.”
Over loud cheers he said: “What I am going to do in a house on the Lido in Venice when I can’t speak Italian and hate pasta, God only knows. But I can’t live under this Conservative Government, this Coalition.
“That is why we have to vote Labour, we have to get Ed in, we have to make changes.”
