Disclosure: I own shares in one or more of the stocks mentioned. I wrote this article myself, and it expresses my own opinions. I am not receiving compensation for it (other than from ShareProphets). I have no business relationship with any company whose stock is mentioned in this article.
A year ago, I had three beautiful cats. Now I have only one. In between, came some agonising trips to the vets to try and save two lives. It was not possible in the end, though of course my family did everything they could to postpone the inevitable.

I was in Avacta a couple of years or so ago. They were based in or by York Science Park at one point, not that I suppose that’s particularly relevant. Got stung by a nasty placing after Alastair – if memory serves – gave assurances that cash flow would be fine for the foreseeable. Once bitten and all that, but would be still be satisfying to see them flourish.
The very recent partnering with Phormost and the development contract with ProtATonce is surely good new indeed, but one concern seems to be the almost 5 billion shares in issue. I say seems because I still can’t see why people should consider this an issue, though many seem to do so. Perhaps it suggests past profligacy, but it’s just a number. Perhaps it’s purely psychological. Why is consolidation so often considered a prelude to a nose dive?
Anyway, other biotechs might wish to note the good PR in the form of educational flicks on their website concerning their products – particularly affirmers…

I had a very tame brown and white spotted rabbit called Bunniculass . She was a reincarnated Roman Centurian . Sadly after a period un planned free range activity she became suddenly very flat indeed ….. caught in the headlights of something heavy . Most unfortunate . Its strange the attachment one forms ………. I still rather miss that rabbit and its mischievous character . Dont miss the vet bills tho …….. £120 quid just to stop it breeding like an……….. err …….rabbit .

A very seasonal Easter message – thank you Wilders and commiserations. And thank you Spaggers. I’m always encouraged when you give me a bit of your informed support. Ironically, I am usually quite put off if I think a company has far too many shares in issue. But this time, I think my optimism for AVCT is justified, though one never really knows with the pharmas.
