Amedeo Resources is a peculiar Chinese beast and is listed on AIM. Non- exec is Ghanim Bin Saad Al Saad Al Kuwari – a pretty big hitter on the Kuwait side. Yangzijiang Shipbuilding (Holdings) Pte Ltd which is part of the major Chineese shipbilding yard and this part is set up to make rigs with purpose built yard- yes not many of them being required right now – bad timing! I rate it a long term buy – IF they can secure some more orders.YZJOE Singapore has in turn a 40% share of YZJOE China – a new Chinese offshore rig building yard – in which Amedeo has an indirect stake of 18.6%. A purpose-built rig-building yard – the Taicang yard, is finished it has capacity to produce up to 10 rigs at the same time as other offshore vessels. curent MCAP is AMEDEO on 18m also they have investment in metal trader – iron – also not a good time to be in ore!
