Touchstar – how “solid” a trading performance and outlook really?

Describing itself as “a provider of connected technology solutions that help organisations in a variety of industry sectors secure and manage the logistic of people and product”, Touchstar (TST) has issued a “Trading Update” which it states it “is pleased to provide”. So what about a current share price response to 77.5p, approaching 9% down?

TST

Touchstar – interims and now targeting “a market opportunity many times greater”

Industrial mobile data computing and managed services company Touchstar (TST) has announced its results for the first half of the 2025 calendar year and “a more ambitious strategy, positioning the company as a leading partner in the secured logistics of people and products. Under new leadership, there is renewed purpose, energy and determination to deliver on this vision”. How does it all compare to the valuation at a 85p share price?

TST

Touchstar – 2024 results, value recovery Buy

Industrial mobile data computing and managed services company Touchstar (TST) has announced its results for the 2024 calendar year and an outlook including “order book at start of year was £1,270,000 nearly double the level of prior year”. So how good is the news from a 75p share price, £6.2 million market capitalisation?

TST

Touchstar – trading better than most recently expected and “conclusion of strategic review”, Buy

Mobile data computing and managed services company Touchstar (TST) has issued an announcement including that it has determined that proposals received under its ‘strategic review’ “do not meet the level deemed to be in the best interests of the shareholders… the Strategic Review has now concluded” and that its trading performance “has enabled the financial performance for the 12 months ended 31 December 2024 to be better than management had expected… positive about the company's prospects for 2025”. So what about this from a currently up to 90p share price, £7.4 million market cap?

TST

Touchstar – trading update, value realisation potential?...

Mobile data computing and managed services company Touchstar (TST) has issued a trading update including that it expects the second half of 2024 “to be strongly cash generative” but also that a significant order has now been delayed for rollout in 2025. What about this from a just below 100p share price, £8 million market capitalisation?

TST

Touchstar – after interims, now again a Buy?

Mobile data computing and managed services company Touchstar (TST) recently announced half-year results including “the results are below H1 2023… pre-tax profits fell by 17.3% to £254,000”. However, we concur that the company “has demonstrated a high quality of earnings, a proven record of good growth and strong cash generation” – and consider there is now good reason to believe those will be realised from a 110p offer share price.

TST

Touchstar – 2023 results, “another period of improved financial performance” so why the share price fall in response?...

Mobile data computing and managed services provider to industry, Touchstar (TST) has announced results for the 2023 calendar year headlined “Strong operational delivery in 2023 has resulted in another period of improved financial performance”. So what of a share price currently more than 6% lower to below 90p in response?

TST

Touchstar – interims, outlook still very positive…

Mobile data computing and managed services company Touchstar (TST) has announced its results for the first half of the 2023 calendar year and an outlook for “another good year for the business and create momentum into 2024”. So further upside from a current 96.25p share price - we tipped it an 80p offer not long ago?

TST

Touchstar – a value ahead of results Buy?...

A late January trading update from Touchstar (TST) included “revenue and profits in line, net cash generation and EBITDA ahead of expectations… the buoyant level of the current order book and trading momentum underpin the prospects for 2023” and that it expects to report results in “late April”. Ahead of those, we suggest there looks strong value in the shares from an 85p offer price.

TST

Touchstar – half-year trading update, how are prospects now?

Mobile data computing and managed services to industry company Touchstar (TST) noted in April-announced results “short-term prospects are being tempered somewhat by a level of inactivity which we believe is a momentary reaction to the present economic and global uncertainty, with some orders being held up”. So what now of a half-year trading update?

TST

Touchstar – positive 2021 and performance set to accelerate, Buy

Mobile data computing services provider to industry Touchstar (TST) has announced “the unaudited full year outcome for FY21 is above market expectations in terms of profitability and cash generation” and that it believes “the rate of growth in revenue and EBITDA will accelerate in 2022 driving further substantial improvement in financial performance”. Good news.

TST

Touchstar again a Buy?

Touchstar (TST) is a stock we were previously confident on early last year but exited on covid-response related challenges at a 21% loss. The shares went on to fall below 40p and though they have already recovered to a current 85p offer price, a recent AGM statement provides further confidence...
