Transense Technologies – argues “remain highly confident”, but how confident do the half-year results suggest to be?

Describing itself as “a leading provider of specialist sensing solutions and measurement systems”, Transense Technologies (TRT) has announced results for its half-year ended 31st December 2025 including commencing that “core trading divisions, SAWsense and Translogik, continue to deliver solid revenue growth of 39% in the period… The company was cash generative”. So what about a current 64p share price, £9.7 million market cap, comparing to the shares having been above 100p as recently as last month?

TRT

Transense Technologies – positive trading update, a winning share tip with further to go

Sensor technology and measurement systems company Transense Technologies (TRT) states that it is pleased to provide a trading update for its financial year ended 30th June 2024 and that it “enters FY25 at a revenue run rate consistent with management expectations for the upcoming year and is well positioned to deliver its ambitious growth plan over the mid to long term”. Further good news for the shares from around 130p then?

TRT

Transense Technologies – interims, some investment costs but a growth BUY

Sensor technology and measurement systems company Transense Technologies (TRT) has announced results for its half-year ended 31st December 2023 and that “planned investment in sales and marketing activity at Translogik is opening new market channels” and “there is an increasing momentum of commercial enquiries and contracted business in SAWsense with high quality global customers”. Good news from a current 107p offer price for the shares?

TRT

Transense Technologies – now a Buy?...

Sensor systems technologies company Transense (TRT) was a long-time investment dog with its results for 1999, for example, including emphasising an “application licence agreement… now working with… SmarTire Systems, Inc., a North American public company which is a world leader in tyre pressure monitoring systems… to produce a prototype in-car system, with the objective of mass production by 2002” but by its 2021 results it still delivering a pre-tax loss on revenue of just £1.8 million. Tom exposed its dodgy dealings with the 3DM fraud back in 2005! However, its recently-announced results for its year ended 30th June 2023 are much more pleasing and suggest material further upside potential from a 110p offer price for the shares.

TRT

Transense Technologies – from “transformational change in the scope and commercial reach of the iTrack system” to...

February-announced half-year results from Transense Technologies (TRT) included “there has been a transformational change in the scope and commercial reach of the iTrack system, and the business has the potential to deliver a significant breakthrough in market penetration”. Now the company “is pleased to announce… in order to capitalise fully on the market potential of the use of the technology, the operational business and trading assets relating to the iTrack system have been transferred to ATMS”. For a high price then surely, given the noted scope and commercial reach...

TRT

Transense Technologies – argues “look forward to 2019 with optimism”. Er…

Sensor systems company Transense Technologies (TRT) commences an AGM update with that “iTrack II recurring monthly subscription revenues continue to increase” and adds “good progress has been made in developing partnering opportunities to accelerate growth in this market” and that “the board look forward to 2019 with optimism”. The shares have responded more than 10% lower, below 50p. Hmmm…

TRT

Transense Technologies – “pleased to provide” trading update including second half was “in line” with the first. Hmmm!

Transense Technologies (TRT) “is pleased to provide a trading update for the year ended 30 June 2018”, noting some revenues over 40% ahead of the prior year and “monthly recurring operating lease rental revenue at 1 July 2018 being over 200 per cent. higher than at 1 July 2017”. So is a muted share price response – and the shares down from 69.5p at the start of the year fair?...

This makes a mockery of the the so called rules and regulations when something as blatant as this is done. It's a shame a shareholder can't propose themselves as a director just to prevent the strike-off.Is there nothing legal that can be done at this point?

I thought that a seasoned reader of financial statements would have clocked that OPTI's HY results to 30/6/26 classed their SBTX shares as non-current assets – meaning that management has no intention to sell them within 12 months.Maybe you assumed that they were forced to class them as non-current because SBTX shares were suspended…but no, the SBTX suspension was lifted weeks before OPTI's sign-off date. And if you believe that OPTI haven't sold all or most of their remaining SBTX shares since June 30th, I'm afraid they saw you coming. There is of course a risk that OPTI has double accounted for its SBTX shares, having included them in both non-current assets and in "cash and equivalents", which might be a fruitful line of enquiry for you.As for Skin's RNS arriving a day outside the standard 10th-20th definition of mid-month, they have had a lot of balls to juggle so a 24hr delay ought to be a cause for congratulations. Why not grab some SBTX shares this afternoon? Could be your last chance to buy back below 12p.

Notwithstanding your ad nauseam negativity on SBTX, I choose to believe the positive indications from the 8 June RNS, including "Growth continued across the company", under Current Trading and Outlook (from a chairman who never speaks with forked tongue). Accordingly, I have helped myself to a nice top-up in anticipation of a welcome trading update on Monday.
