Last month writing on Catenai (CTAI) with the shares at 0.225p we noted its main focus now an approximately 13% shareholding in Alludium – with it argued that, “unlike traditional AI tools that operate in isolation, Alludium’s platform allows multiple AI agents to collaborate with each other and with users, building institutional memory and automating workflows across organisations” and the obvious potential of that. What of now an ‘Alludium update’ and shares in Catenai currently up in response at 0.245p?
Catenai (CTAI) has announced that, under an “extension agreement”, “Klarian will repay Catenai the £624,250 due under the convertible loan note facility and related fees by 31 March 2026”. This is possibly good news with a £1.6 million fundraise in July from Catenai having followed cash of just £94,092 at end-June 2025 and it loss-making.

As previously explained the Klarian loan note represent the majority of Catenai’s (CTAI) gross assets, 96% to be exact. If Catenai receives back cash then the loan note and accrued interest is worth what is stated in the accounts I.e. £567,500.

n my last note on 16 December on Catenai (CTAI), I speculated about what would happen as regards Catenai’s loan to Klarian Limited which accounted for over 99% of its assets. The loan redemption date was 31 December 2024.
In its last RNS of 29 November, Catenai (CTAI) made the following statement “The Company continues to carefully manage its working capital position.” This isn’t that surprising because in its interim accounts to 30 June 2024 Catenai had net current assets of £566,763 but this included cash of just £4,759. Within net assets was a loan note receivable of £450,000 plus accrued fees of £117,500 totalling £567,500 due from Klarian Limited. So, the loan represents the majority of its assets.

Catenai (CTAI) has released its interim results for the six months to 30 June 2024. As usual it recorded a loss. This time £12,778. The loss was sharply reduced because it has booked revenue of £117,500 of fees on its £450,000 convertible loan note made to Klarian. Other revenue was just £7,000. Catenai is basically now a punt on the Klarian CLN.If that doesn’t work out its a worthless company.
