Somero Enterprises (SOM) has issued an “AGM Statement” including “positive trading momentum from the end of 2025 carried over”. So what’s the detail of that compared to a 185p share price, £98 million market cap?
Somero Enterprises (SOM) has issued a “Buyback Expansion and Further M&A Framework Detail”-titled announcement including that “the company’s strong cash generation and balance sheet provide flexibility to support targeted opportunities” and “an increase in the size of the company’s share buyback programme, announced on 12 March 2026, from US$4.0m to a maximum of US$6.0m”. What about this from a 185p share price, comparing to still above 200p at 12th March?
Most recently on ‘concrete-leveling to customers in over 90 countries’ company Somero Enterprises (SOM), in July with the shares falling to around 200p I wrote ‘after just last month “in line with the revised guidance issued in the 24 April 2025 trading update”, now already “performance is expected to fall below the guidance”’, concluding to still avoid. What about now on first half of 2025 results arguing “disciplined focus on operational efficiency and the enduring nature of our long-term growth drivers position us well for recovery as market conditions stabilize”?
Describing itself as an “industry-leading concrete-levelling equipment, training, education and support” company, Somero Enterprises (SOM) has issued a “Trading Update” commencing including “long-term demand drivers in non-residential construction remain intact… and Somero’s customers continue to report high bidding activity and strong backlogs. However, the market pressures and global uncertainty highlighted previously… continue to weigh heavily on activity”. With “highlighted previously” and an AGM trading update just six weeks ago, is that though ‘weight on activity’ as expected?
Somero Enterprises (SOM) has announced results for the first half of 2024 including noting full-year “expectations for 2024 revenues of approximately US$110.0m, EBITDA of approximately US$ 30.0m, and year-end cash of approximately US$ 27.0m”. How do those compare to an around 300p share price and what it has delivered in the first half of the year?
Concrete-levelling business Somero Enterprises (SOM) states that it “is pleased to provide an update on trading ahead of its interim results announcement scheduled to be released on Thursday, 29 August”. What though of the stock market not being pleased with the update, with the shares currently more than 8.5% lower at 320p?
Concrete placing and levelling equipment company Somero Enterprises (SOM) has issued a “trading update” including that “the health of non-residential construction activity in the US, Europe and Australia, the company's three main markets… has remained intact”. So what of a current share price response to 300p, more than 9% lower?
