Synectics – “confident in the group’s growth opportunity” but wasn’t it also confident before?, And…

Describing itself as “a leader in security, surveillance and operational intelligence solutions”, Synectics (SNX) has issued a “Trading Update” including it’s now “expected… adjusted EBITDA at the top end of the previously communicated range of £3.7 million to £4.1 million… confident in the group’s growth opportunity”. What about the shares currently up to 200p in response, but still down from above 300p a year ago?

SNX

Synectics – interims, how “achievable” really is its full-year outlook?

Describing itself as “a leader in security, surveillance and operational intelligence solutions”, Synectics (SNX) has announced results for its half-year ended 31st May 2026 headlined “Strategic transformation on track to drive accelerated growth from FY27. FY outlook remains achievable, with some uncertainty around Energy project timings” and what about currently a share price fall to below 180p?

SNX

Synectics – with trading currently only “broadly in line” with expectations, good luck for the “weighted towards the second half”!

Most recently on security and surveillance systems company Synectics (SNX), in March with the shares down to 187.5p I concluded, with the company’s noted near-term outlook and even more elevated macro environment uncertainty, avoid. The shares most recently closed at 205p, but what about now an AGM update and the shares currently down to 177.5p?

SNX

Synectics – full-year results emphasising “robust financial growth… solid order book”, so why a near 16% share price fall?…

Security and surveillance company which states that “it transforms customer operations by seamlessly integrating systems, technologies, and data”, Synectics (SNX) has announced results for its year ended 30th November 2025 including highlighting “revenue increased by 22.0% to £68.1 million… adjusted diluted earnings per share increased significantly to 28.0p (FY24: 21.7p)… total dividend up 11.1% to 5.0 pence per share… Solid order book”. So what about a share price of 187.5p in response, approaching 16% down?

SNX

Synectics – “AGM Trading Update”, a value opportunity Buy

Security and surveillance technology company Synectics (SNX) has issued an “AGM Trading Update” announcement headlined “Trading in-line, with recent contract wins across all key sectors supporting the company's solid order book”. How significantly encouraging is this from a 310p share price, £55.2 million market cap?

SNX

Synectics – now again a Buy?...

Security and surveillance systems company focused on specialist markets including gaming, oil & gas and public space, Synectics (SNX) was sold from the portfolio here early last year with we noting then that we still believed that there was longer-term value but that we were cautious of the near-term after an update from the company noted “timing of projects coupled with longer lead-times mean that results for FY2023 are now anticipated to be more heavily weighted to the second half of the year than previously expected”. Subsequent results for the company’s half-year ended 31st May 2023 showed adjusted pre-tax profit up to £0.7 million on revenue of £21.9 million – comparing to full-year forecasts for the pre-tax profit of £2.3 million on revenue of £45.4 million. However, there was then another trading update last month.

SNX

Synectics – argues “good progress”, but how good and how confident to be in a ‘significant second half weighting’?

Security and surveillance systems company Synectics (SNX) has announced “good progress being made compared to the same period last year… underpinned by strong trading in the global oil & gas market, which is expected to continue in H2 2023 and beyond”. So what of a current 107.5p share price, still down from approaching 140p earlier this year?

Are you sure that the Government is financing the deficit by printing money? I understood it was financing the deficit by borrowing money in the gilt market, which you also disapprove of? I also understand that the Bank of England is selling its gilt holdings, thereby reducing the money supply. I think you may possible be mistaken.

What an excellent diatribe against a stupid cow who seems to know fuck all about the real world, just like most MP's but most certainly Labour ones. That was the ultimate insult from her - odious in the extreme. Maybe she'd like to donate a percentage of her fat taxpayer-funded salary to help keep the pub going and give the guy a well-earned break? I won't hold my breath though.
