Diurnal – interims noting revenue growth, so why the share price slump?...

Hormonal diseases-targeting pharmaceutical group Diurnal (DNL) has announced results for its half-year ended 31st December 2021 including “Alkindi product sales (including royalties) for the period increased to £1.74m, representing year-on-year growth of 46%… Efmody initial product sales for the period of £0.39m were in line with the company's expectations”. So why a share price response to below 18p, more than 46% lower?!...

Tom, last time I looked 116.5p is a little higher than the 10p IPO price (7p with EIS). I hope none of your subscribers took your previous advice to avoid and get out back at the 15p level. Maybe someone even got an MM to go short or do a crafty spread bet, but shorting is way riskier than buying as this share has proven.Anyway, I'm not complaining with my 16 bags as we stand today, and it doesn't bother me where the share price goes in the short term as we are no doubt one RNS away from another significant upwards move, will that be next week or next month who knows, but it will arrive one day.

This guy sounds almost as nutty the late and very colourful Bob Beckman. I used to listed to Bob's show on LBC radio in the 1990s. He would often predict that your house would soon be worth less than your car! Instead of crashing, house prices tripled in the period he was active in. Originally he put his stock-picking skills down to his Old English Sheepdog, William. He would show a stock chart to William, and if William ripped it up, that was a signal to short. He even tried to claim that his share-dealing profits were really William's and as William was a dog, he didn't have to pay tax. Well I suppose that was a variation on the old excuse, the dog ate my homework.

Of course it’s not 2P they are drilling for ( that’s proven reserves). It’s 2C and 2U - that’s should be there and all fingers crossed it’s there resource. They do like P50 and P10 numbers not accepted 2c/3c and 2U /3U resource numbers that all good companies use dispite the technical report they rely on reporting these. Red flag by default for this from me as they report the higher number basis.

I agree these nutcases have been predicting the end of the financial world for decades.I remember an American politician would not run for the 1988 election because he felt the problems were insurmountable .One “expert” is predicting 3000 dollar gold interest rates at 8% and house prices falling by 50%.Fear and greed are always the buttons that these nutters keep pressing.
