Corero Network Security – “strong order intake and revenue growth underpins operational progress”. Er, what about financial progress?

Describing itself as “a leading provider of DDoS protection solutions”, Corero Network Security (CNS) has issued a trading update headlined “Strong order intake and revenue growth underpins operational progress. Post period end, secured a new customer contract worth $1.4 million with Tier-1 service provider in US”. What about that from a current below 9p share price, comparing to above 13p earlier this year?

CNS

Corero Network Security – “2025 Product and Industry Update”, attempted ramptastic?

An announcement today from Corero Network Security (CNS) includes arguing that the various external large outages this year “were reminders that the very nature of DDoS attacks has changed, and… legacy tools react too late, cannot see into encrypted traffic, and struggle at the application layer. When attacks come from multiple directions at once, coordination breaks down. This is the kind of environment Corero’s platform, anchored by SmartWall ONE, was built for”. So a good 2025 financial performance and outlook then?

CNS

Corero Network Security – I having previously questioned its emphasised swing to profit, now trading “below market expectations” and worse…

Most recently writing on company describing itself as “distributed denial of service protection specialists” Corero Network Security (CNS), in April with the shares down to 16p I questioned its emphasised swing to profit and concluded the valuation still meant my stance was avoid/sell. There’s today from the company a “Half Year Trading Update” headlined “Strong ARR growth of 25%, reflecting continued momentum towards SaaS model. Shift in revenue mix with higher DDPaaS sales supports long-term revenue predictability and customer retention rates”. So what about a current heading towards 9p share price in response, down more than 35% on the day?!

CNS

Corero Network Security – 2024 results emphasise a swing to profit, but is there really?…

Describing itself as “a leading provider of DDoS protection solutions”, Corero Network Security (CNS) has announced its results for the 2024 calendar year including emphasising “solid topline growth and continued ARR momentum… Revenue increased by 10% to $24.6 million… Profit before taxation of $0.6 million (2023: loss $0.2 million)… Solid start to FY 2025, delivering customer wins across the globe, contract expansion with alliance partner Juniper Networks”. So what about a current more than 4% lower share price response to 16p?

CNS

Corero Network Security – 2022 results, “now well placed to expand its market coverage and increase sales”? Er, what about that cash burn?!

Describing itself as “a leading provider of Distributed Denial of Service protection solutions”, Corero Network Security (CNS) has announced results for the 2022 calendar year including emphasising “annualised recurring revenues up 13% to $14.4 million… Large and high growth addressable market… now well placed to expand its market coverage and increase sales”. So what of a share price currently further down to 6.65p?

CNS

Corero – Bullshit earnings, cash burning and a profits warning buried in a release: uninvestable scumbags enter a 26th year of failure

How many times has cyber security group Corero Networks (CNS) lead its shares up the hill with ramptastic announcement after ramptastic announcement only to admit that it was running out of money, needed to do yet another bailout placing and seen its shares slide back down the hill again? Corero has been listed since 1997….

Why am I surprised at yet another farcical episode on the London market? As Tom has suggested for over 2 years, this stock has clearly always been one for one to add to their bargepole list. While I doubt that anybody reading this website would own GEX shares, unfortunately numerous BB mugs will have been lured into buying shares in this joke company. I understand that the bar for regulatory action by the FCA on Main Market listed shitcos appears to be set extremely high, but surely it should be taking action against companies who engage in such placings. The culture of companies materially misleading investors ahead of placings, while sitting on adverse price sensitive information, must be rooted out if London is to be considered a credible financial centre.

From the January 2026 peak some of my gold and silver stocks are down by up to 50 %.However the intrinsic npv of these Companies at much lower gold and silver prices leaves these mines at a huge discount based on the current sp.I remember being in cey in 2008 when the price tanked but I stayed in because the gold had not gone away….

I would hope they would take action.I suspect they won't. Anything goes on London. The LSE mugs are still rounding on the bear and buying the dip. One of the strongest Stockholms I've ever seen.

You have just shown yourself to be needing as much psychiatric treatment as PM with that diatribe. I am no fan of Trump by nobody of sound mind carries those thoughts at the front of their mind.I doubt you know anything about the Epstein files and with Trump being as litigious as he is you could be in bother with defamatory comments like that.

Surely one is always underwater when buying shares because of the spread? Maybe the spread is greater for an AQSE stock than a FTSE 100 stock but you'll always be slightly under water, hopefully just short term.

I am sorry that you have to put up with this defamatory garbage from an individual who has, to put it plainly, gone off the rails. It comes with the territory of being in the public domain.I detest it, and the manner in which you are exposed to his simplistic nonsense. I trust readers will ignore Mathieson, and do not waste any time reading his vitriolic nonsense.
