BIRD

Bye, Bye Blackbird

Hello Share Placers. You can’t succeed in the shares game if you don’t admit your mistakes and then take swift action to mitigate the loss. That’s what I plan to do with Blackbird plc (BIRD), which Uncle Tom rightly attacks this week. It’s just served up some interims that Tom describes, to put it slightly more politely, as utterly poor.

BIRD

Blackbird spaffs ten grand a day: 6 nil to the Cockney Boys, Malcolm Stacey you’re not singing anymore, etc, etc

I am sorry to sound a bit like a football yob but West Ham’s storming start to the season brings out the worst in me. Especially when Malcolm’s oft loved up Blackbird (BIRD) has just served up such utterly piss poor interims. As ever with this “licensor, developer and seller of the market-leading cloud video editing platform” it is all jam tomorrow but cold cabbage water today. If Blackbird is the market leader God only knows how its less “successful” competitors survive.

BIRD

Blackbird Ain't Singing at the Mo, but I Belay Uncle Tom's Invitation to Back Track

Hello share climbers. Uncle Tom has asked me when I will admit that a choice of mine is not going to cut the mustard. The name of the firm is Blackbird (BIRD) and it has a nifty way of editing films and tv programmes in the cloud. The latest reason for Tom not to share my enthusiasm is that a big customer has cancelled its contract.

Blackbird Flies Further Forward in World TV's Great Race

Hello Share Collectors. When I worked in TV we had to put our film on trains to be collected by motorcyclists and rushed to the studio labs to be developed. Of course, this meant news was late reaching the viewer. How things have changed. And leading the charge is a British company called Blackbird (BIRD).

BIRD

Investors Might Want to Say Hello and Not Bye, Bye to this Blackbird

Hello Share People. Blackbird plc (BIRD) is a television company that’s flying high, and I don't really think the current share price reflects this. I rather think share values should reflect future prospects rather than past achievements and Blackbird, with its ground breaking technology to help TV companies and its big investment in research and development, could win many more profitable orders in the future.

BIRD

Another Order and Kicking Good Endorsement for Blackbird

Hello, Share Collectors. Probably the best thing about Blackbird (BIRD) is that it keeps picking up big name orders. The company provides a cutting-edge platform for TV companies to edit and distribute programmes from the Cloud. And, as I often say, a list of well-heeled and profitable clients is tasty for any company wanting to increase its share price.

BIRD

Blackbird Has Spoken. It's Flying with an Ambitious Growth Programme

Hello, Share Scrimpers. Previously, I’ve commended Blackbird (BIRD) to you. It’s a company with dazzling technology that allows TV companies to edit and broadcast their programmes in the Cloud. A flurry of orders a few months ago galvanised the share price. But since then, as is often the way, news has dwindled and so has the share price. But there’s now an announcement that signals this growing company may have only just got going.

BIRD

Blackbird Has Spoken, but though its Results Knock the Share Price, the Setback Could Be Temporary

Hello, Share Crunchers. Recently I re-suggested you might look at Blackbird plc (BIRD). It’s an AIM company that provides editing and other useful services in the cloud to broadcasters. Well, its interim results are just out. And they scared the City a bit as the share price fell about 11%. The drop, given the future potential of this techie outfit, I find rather surprising and might offer a good entry point.

BIRD

You're More Likely to Say Hello rather than Bye Bye Blackbird when You Hear this News

Hello, Share Thrashers. A company I’ve commended to you previously has reached another milestone. Blackbird plc (BIRD) is a British outfit successfully working a big change in the way television reaches our homes. It’s just been confirmed that the company now serves 75 TV stations in the USA, spanning 35 states. This is because another company called Town News has just strengthened its existing partnership with Blackbird to serve more broadcasters.

BIRD

Blackbird Has Spoken - There's Another Big Customer for its Lightning TV System

Hello, Share Movers. Major stories like Covid and Brexit have made keeping up with the news more important, compelling and attractive. Therefore many online and TV news companies have been thriving. One such outfit is the oddly-named Cheddar News. Its mostly an online operation that can be found on all traditional platforms, like YouTube. It’s owned and operated by America’s Altice News group, which is big.

BIRD

Another Feather in Blackbird's Cap as Yet Another Big American TV Company Signs Up

Hello, Share Fans. Recently, I suggested you look at Blackbird (BIRD) despite the fact that it's a cloud company, which puts some people off. The nice thing about Blackbird though is that it has some very strong orders flying in. And once it’s signed up a big name, it’s rather hard for the client to pull out in future years. Not unless it takes the expensive step of setting up a new system.

BIRD

As the Orders Keep Hopping In, I Wouldn't Want to Say Bye, Bye to this Blackbird

Hello, Share Stashers. My instinct is to avoid companies with ‘cloud’ in the description. However, there’s one AIM-listed cloud firm which I’m jolly glad I bought into. It’s called Blackbird (BIRD) and it provides a lightning fast editing service for television news companies. The share has more than doubled in the last few weeks as the orders keep coming in.

Why am I surprised at yet another farcical episode on the London market? As Tom has suggested for over 2 years, this stock has clearly always been one for one to add to their bargepole list. While I doubt that anybody reading this website would own GEX shares, unfortunately numerous BB mugs will have been lured into buying shares in this joke company. I understand that the bar for regulatory action by the FCA on Main Market listed shitcos appears to be set extremely high, but surely it should be taking action against companies who engage in such placings. The culture of companies materially misleading investors ahead of placings, while sitting on adverse price sensitive information, must be rooted out if London is to be considered a credible financial centre.

From the January 2026 peak some of my gold and silver stocks are down by up to 50 %.However the intrinsic npv of these Companies at much lower gold and silver prices leaves these mines at a huge discount based on the current sp.I remember being in cey in 2008 when the price tanked but I stayed in because the gold had not gone away….

You have just shown yourself to be needing as much psychiatric treatment as PM with that diatribe. I am no fan of Trump by nobody of sound mind carries those thoughts at the front of their mind.I doubt you know anything about the Epstein files and with Trump being as litigious as he is you could be in bother with defamatory comments like that.

Surely one is always underwater when buying shares because of the spread? Maybe the spread is greater for an AQSE stock than a FTSE 100 stock but you'll always be slightly under water, hopefully just short term.

I am sorry that you have to put up with this defamatory garbage from an individual who has, to put it plainly, gone off the rails. It comes with the territory of being in the public domain.I detest it, and the manner in which you are exposed to his simplistic nonsense. I trust readers will ignore Mathieson, and do not waste any time reading his vitriolic nonsense.
